im ashamed enough to have worked for free to try clean up the troxbox of scam as chatmod ( we have no powers, bar in da troll box/chatbox ) and make its the fun trollbox it once was, but most users know i was there to help all in crypto grow from devs to nubcakes to fello trolls.
try working for some 1 for free for years and then getting kicked in da nuts and 2 btc+ stolen..
most came for the entertainment in the trollbox not to trade as such.
its was the melting pot of crypto.
Alot of sites now doing fake KYC or illegal forms of KYC to steal other peps $...tradeashity & cryptobridge both taking this path. 1 already fell on its own sword doing so and wont take long for other to fall aswell.
Trying to use pre-kyc info ,when they site themselves never provide any REAL proof of whome or were they are so alot of users wouldnt put true DOB and such and would use nick names as login to protect themselves from ID theft ( which is a issues in exchange sites and why they warn u not to use same login and pw for different sites. ) When KYC info is req then user can provide REAL info...
emails can be used as a verification that its u aswell esp if u have 2fa email ( 2x proof o ID ) they use emails as proof of ID in law so why not in KYC?!?
its due to they want to make easy end game legal exit with ur coins even if u provide 400 point proof of id
I had the Cryptobridge KYC checker tried tell me my national ID isnt a national ID.
.. a simple google search can prove it is tho...
Saying this ive had great kyc checkers like bitrex and other top line sites that understand the legal difference of prekyc info to kyc info and allow u to prove whome are without trying to hit users for trying to protect themselves from Id theft and such...
Has been proved many times aka crapsy and multi other old exchanges and now topia, all raped there users and there all meant to be in country's that have laws to protect from theft..
aka USA and kiwi land and both times users got screwed over so wat u think going to happen to whomever was running ccex at start and end when they claimed to be from Ukraine but site was hosted in Switzerland?!?!
