Good luck with the pool.

https://con.poolers.org Promotions

When I offered 0% fees for the first 20 people attracted many signups but the hashrates have been low and for a 1GH/s network I have realized it is not going to be enough to get started.

So, I have decided to go bigger...

First, I will extend 0% fees for life to the next 50 people that signup and start mining.

I will announce mining contests with different prizes depending on the hashrates we hit and maintain.

If we hit the following hashrates, the prizes for the contest will be as follows:

100 MH/s - Any video game on Steam up to $59.99 gifted to your Steam account.

300 MH/s - Xbox360/Kinect bundle with 4 games

These are just the start.  Once this coin has real monetary value and the pool is large I will host many contests with big prizes.  I will announce the details of the contests later depending on our sustained hashrate but these are the prizes I am offering for the first contest.

In addition to exciting contests with big prizes, mining at con.poolers.org has other benefits. The other pools have not invested near as much into securing your accounts and coins.  Just try putting https at the front of your pools address.  If they can't even afford to buy an SSL certificate to encrypt their traffic and verify their identity, how much do you think was put into securing the site?

I don't host pools to make money,  I am already well-off financially and don't need the money.  I operate at a loss and I do so on purpose.  I believe in the idea of unregulated currency and want to see cryptocurrency become mainstream.  I don't like day trading coins to turn $20 into $40, I am in this for it to blow up huge.  Because of this I am willing to offer prizes like these when I am not even making any money out of it.

I challenge you to show me one other pool that is making 0% fees, investing into real security, and giving away tangible goods rather than coins that may or may not be worth something someday.

Come and mine @ https://con.poolers.org , the only pool where the members benefit more than the pool owner.

Thanks!  If everyone that signed up would actually stick around for more than a couple minutes we would actually be doing pretty well.  Every time I make a post I get about 15 to 20 more registrations but people are only mining for a few minutes and then leaving.  Guys, if you just all start mining together you wont be alone.  There have been a lot of registration, now we need active workers =)

I really want to give away those prizes; help me help you.

Yeah, guys, you're not gonna get coins or for the first few minutes (youre just wasting your precious hash & whomever stays reaps the reward) leave it for at least 24h & you'll be getting just as much as any other pool you're using. Right?

Anyone know what the txfee is for Coino?  Pool withdrawals are causing liquid assets to go negative.  I have had enough of my own coins in there so far to cover it but I need to get this fixed before it becomes a problem.

What happened that difficulty dropped from 8 to 2? Did we loose that much hash?

Im still a quasi noob & was confused about different sized pools vs solo mining.

While mining bitcoin now requires a days worth of 10 terahash or more just to find one block, you can still get blocks of coino on a regular basis mining on small pools, or even solo with less than a gigahash. the rewards are just spaced out further in between on the smaller pools while you get a small steady stream on larger pools, but if you mine for longer periods of time, your hash contribution & payout evens out.

We just "feel better" seeing those fractions come in every minute as opposed to biting your nails in between chunks of Coin(O)hhhs!

Need an answer to the txfee question if anyone knows.  Every withdrawal from the pool is withdrawing more from the pool wallet than the withdrawal amount and it seems to be ~5 CON. Seems like a lot for a txfee, can that be right?  I have been able to cover these with my own coins so far but it will run out eventually so I need to know the correct txfee for Coino.  Thanks.

Tax is 0.1 CON.

Noob question. I'm confused, 0.1 is 10% Of one coino, who recieves this fee, when is it paid, by whom, etc? I thought you could set your own transaction fee amount in the wallet or leave it at zero but suffer slower transactions...?

Just stumbled upon this coin, have any changes been made to how the blockchain syncs? Or is it orphan central? Curious as the orphan rate generally sky rockets when the block time is this low.

I was looking at the sell orders on coinmarket.io and there is a sell set at 0.1 btc per coin and 0.5 btc per coin and I just couldn't help but laugh at that Tongue

Yes.. but if u send 100 CONs, is still 0.1 CON.
The Fees are going in coino again, so when the 100.000.000 coinos are all out, u still can mine for the tax Smiley.

i think it is a set transaction fee of 0.1 (if correct) coino per transaction, ie if you transfer 100 or 10000 coino you will still be deducted 0.1 coino from the transaction, i assume this goes to the coin network once all coins are mined as a transaction processing payment (not sure where it goes while coins are still mined)
