Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Guys poolers.org has been hit by a DDoS attack.  Since we have to deal with this downtime I am going to take this opportunity to upgrade the server. We should be back online in about 30 minutes.  Sorry for the interruption.  I was able to check the pool wallet and database before starting the server migration and nothing has been lost.  The host just stopped routing the traffick during the attack.

Hash.so rips off dedicatedpool! BOYCOTT hash.so and use dedicatedpool, which is the ORIGINAL pool with tons of features, great speed, reliability, all backed by a guy that NEVER sleeps!

Thats not very nice to come on here and slander them, I'm sure dedicatedpool is great but I would also think the admin over there wouldn't approve of this sort of promotion of his pool. Another pool offering "tons of features, great speed, reliability" doesnt mean they ripped anyone off. There is enough hash to go around and having more pools is a good thing for Coino.  In addition to the coin dev, the pool admins play a big part in the promotion of the coin and this just means one more person that will be working hard to get people to participate.

Exactly, I hope more pools copy the professionalism and dedication of Dedicatedpool.

Oh wow, I cant believe people go through so much trouble to do this.

Anyway, I have migrated poolers.org to a faster server and beefed up the DDoS protection. Everything is back online.  Sorry for the trouble guys.

Ddos attacks have (and I suspect) will be a regular thing these days, best thing to do is configure multiple pools with failovers, sucks for ppl using guiminer, set up regular cgminer, its your best shot at keeping your miners up 24/7

As it turns out the coino dev is actually legitimate and after doing further research it appears  the mystery dump did not come from him which I had initially thought it had. The extra 200k he didn't mention he premined has not been dumped. Coino will still be successful
