Difficulty tripling shortly! Network hash tickling the big 800

nice buzz you got here too bad dedicatedpool owns 80% of hashrate and will probably fork Smiley

im not very familiar with it but what causes fork?

when one pools owns 51%+ of the network if they have a blockchain problem or make one, then 51%+ of the network will follow their blockchain leaving the rest in a fork with their coins worth 0 because they're not on the same network anymore. don't know how to make it easier as I don't know for sure how a fork is done by pools in anyway if dpool forks it's gonna kill/cripple the coin.

nope

for the last 30 blocks they got 28 of them, if you don't do something about it everyone's gonna jump ship to them and fork will happen.

if they don't close stratum for a few minutes , closing registration will do nothing since the miners are alreay there, their hashrate is simply too big for the network.

thanks for the explanation. that does sound bad indeed but I dont think it will not benefit them at all for that to happen. i might be wrong

Yeah, it's fixed.  The estimated diff target in amount of blocks was not matching coino.

Correct me if I'm wrong:
The max. supply of this coin is 100 million coins and the starting price is 0,000145 btc which is 0,12$ - isn't this a bit overpriced??

wait until its listed at cryptsy. It will go much higher. just look at Litecoin. 80 million coins and atm 20 dollar per coin.

Sure but Litecoin has got a market cap of about 578 million $ lol!

Let's compare it for example with USD-E which is also a new coin with a maximum of 1,6 billion times. So it is 16 times more coins. The price skyrocket the last few days and is at the moment at a level of 0,000005 btc per coin.

So if we calculate 0,000005 btc * 16 (cause USD-E is 16 times more coins) we are at a price per coin of 0,00008. Do you understand now why I mean that 0,000145 btc per coin is overpriced as a starting price?
