Yep, looks like we can see the site now.

Cept the trading is broken,  Can see for example 2 satoshi bids and asks... not executing.

So now you can see asks of 2 and bids of 3.  Definitely not working...

I'm sorry I am a huge fan of poloniex but wtf is the point of this thread or the twitter account when we get situations like this with absolutely no information being given out?

Can't agree more. Sometimes it seems like we're given excessive info about what's happening when it's not really important (like, "investigating periodic slow-downs"), but the other time when exchange doesn't work at all it's complete silence or some unrelated info!

Busconi,

I would like to request that a confirmation to execute trade button be added to the exchange.

Also, is the "2 hour" chart a four day chart? If so, can we have that reflected on the selection, rather than two hours?

Thanks.

I'll see what I can put together. I would like to clear the decision to publish the correspondence with the developers. I don't know that there will be email headers, though, because he communicated solely via Freshdesk. I can tell you now that the email address he used is niggalipstick@hmamail.com.

About the issues earlier. There was no DDOS--there's some issue with the database where it decides to refuse loads of connections. This causes everything to run glacially slow. I believe I have isolated what triggers the issue, but I still haven't figured out why the issue is occurring.

After I fixed the issue (it's easy to fix in the short-term, just a database restart), I forgot to restart the trading daemon. I wrote a script that watches the process and restarts it if it goes down, so that won't happen again.

"2-hour chart" means that each candlestick represents two hours. I believe this is the standard way of describing the scale of a candlestick chart.

Busoni, I try to give you the benefit of the doubt because of how you handled the XCP bug issue, but at the moment your exchange is completely unusable.

EDIT: Still nothing. This exchange is an unmitigated disaster at the moment.
