Important notice about dextools team and their project.

DEXTtools team stated they had hacker attack on 3rd July morning when hacker took 4,8 million of their dext coins (first they published it was taken by their dev but they changed it to "hacker").

After the attack they took some steps to "protect" their project .

They locked the liquidity , and to stop hacker from getting lot of money for his dexts , they sold rest of their coins to lower the price greatly and to secure future funds for the project (like they explained on their yt video about hack ).

After selling their coins they swapped to new DEXT coins making old coins useless .

All locked coins got swapped after few days (locked on swaps like uniswap ,pancakeswap etc...), except for coins on exchanges (like poloniex,okex,huobi...) there was no swap .

First problem is exchanges kept trading dexts (till next day) and people sold and bought dexts on lower price which was lowered only by dextools team .

Second problem is DEXTools team locked part of coins (not all ) , sold some coins (kept the money) and swapped only coins that were locked. Other coins they wanna swap based on some screenshot from before attack.

Why is this a problem , they protected users on uniswap and pancake locking trades and they swapped their coins without problem , but they sold (to who,to us on exchanges) their huge amount of unlocked coins and kept the money (after swap they kept again that huge amount of new coins) . They didn't successfully stop trading on exchanges where traders kept selling and buying dexts . Now they want from exchanges to swap based on their screenshot holders before 3rd July . Whoever bought after screenshot gets usdt refund ( lol after market raised more than 50%) . They wanna keep as much new coins as they can , traders on which they depend don't matter to them . If i bought my coins legally why can't i swap them , why should i lose money because they were hacked ? If i was hacked would they swap the coins? If dext coins are still not swapped and you trade them anywhere , after swap they must all be swapped cause they are created 1 for 1 , if dext team thinks you have hackers coins they should legally ask them to be taken its not up to them to swap some and keep rest.

When we asked on telegram and twitter what will happen with our coins we bought that day ,how can they prove that are hackers coins and not their coins or people who sold fearing its rugpull they started blocking users 1 by 1 ,that's how friendly they are. Now we see Okex swapped old Dext based on that screenshot , we are waiting on Poloniex to see how are they gonna act. Poloniex officially stated they are gonna migrate all coins so that's what we are waiting, if not we are gonna sue them . All that swap till 3rd July crap is illegal and all traders should join us in our legal fight to either shut down dextools project and to penalty exchanges or be legally swapped for what we bought. I didn't see on any other coin that was hacked that they did this illegal move. So once more a message to dextools team (and exchanges) you didn't screw the hacker how you say in your video on yt but you screwed real traders. Give us our legally traded coins or face legal consequence.

Good, I just got to know the Poloniex service to send ETH or BTC through the Tron network, facilitating at any time a 1 to 1 exchange between ETH and BTC and their respective Tron tokens. The good news is that you can send ETH for just $ 1. Well, the question is whether this is only done by Poloniex or is there a multichain wallet that can do it. I've also heard that Trezor could make it easier, but I'm not sure. Congratulations to Poloniex for the service.

If it is offtopic, I would appreciate some info by mp, because I can't find anything on this topic.

Thaks!

Poloniex Is Trying To Rip Me Off My $3000 Worth Of BNB

Hello Guys!
Please I need your help.
I am a local crypto trader, I exchange cryptos to local currency. So I made a deposit of 5.5 BNB worth approximately $3000 as at time of deposit; from my Binance Bep2 wallet using their Cross-Chain Transaction feature.

The deposit was successful and here is the https://bscscan.com/tx/0x9f3480ea24e9c025cc4864745d0b24e7756151012b161fbfd6edc5166f0924df But the deposit wasn't credited to my Poloniex account.

I contacted their support and the response they gave me is that "Upon further investigation, we are unable to recover this deposit. You made a cross-chain transaction. A cross-chain is simply interoperability between two independent blockchains without an escrow or intermediaries and cross-chain swaps are performed through special smart contracts. However, we do not support it and the fund won’t be swapped automatically to the account even if the address is correct."... When I asked what that means, all they could tell me is that the fund is lost, that I can't be credited for the deposit unless they make a change in their Policy later in the future.

If you can't credit my Poloniex account, please send back my BNB to my wallet address, and their response is "the process to recover this token is extremely complicated and may result in significant cost, time, and risk." It is not like I made a wrong deposit, or that I sent a wrong token to the wrong address. The coin is there sitting in the deposit wallet address they gave me https://bscscan.com/address/0x013d03144b04e193336eb74ed695f88c67f72cb4.

I said okay, since the process of recovering the token is complicated like you said (I don't even understand what that means), this wallet address was automatically generated from your system and I am sure the private key is saved in your database, please give me the private key, let me import it in other wallets like Metamask and send out my BNB, this is their response "Unfortunately, private keys cannot be shared."... Okay, how about you guys do it yourself manually with the private key, import it to another wallet, remove any amount that it will cost you to recover or send out the tokens; from my deposit amount and send the remaining amount to another wallet address of yours or my own wallet, they still did not agree to that Their response is, "Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with your request.".

I have even pleaded with them to send me at lease half of my deposit amount, to settle my client, and since then, they haven't replied to my emails.

Please if anyone can help me to recover my 5.5 BNB, I will gladly give him 1.5 BNB from the tokens... Please I am pleading, I can't afford to pay back $3000 to my client that owns the money.

not really a solution, but an info.
Justin Sun is not any more CEO of TRON, he has left on mid-december to become an official ambassador in granada.
however he is probably still an influent member of the board, hence probably also in poloniex.
why not contact him on twitter?

OK. So I should let you guys know that they ended up sorting out my issue and deposited my funds back to my account. Even though they should be faster when answering to support requests, I have my confidence increased in them. Just keep contacting their support; if the issue is their responsibility, they will sort it out for you.

The exchange is celebrating 8 years of existence. I've been using it since 2016, I've had a few problems, which were resolved promptly. I know many were not so lucky. I hope that Poloniex solves these pending issues and celebrates another 8 years, but for that, it is necessary to improve every day.

Happy Birthday!

Is POLONIEX gong to do anything about how they hosed all their users who were trading leveraged ETF tokens :
BEAR, BULL, ETHBEAR, ETHBULL, ADABEAR、ADABULL, LTCBEAR, LTCBULL, XLMBEAR, XLMBULL, BCHBEAR, BCHBULL, BSVBEAR、BSVBULL, TRXBEAR, TRXBULL, XRPBEAR, XRPBULL, EOSBEAR, EOSBULL, LINKBEAR, LINKBULL, BVOL, and IBVOL.

And Poloniex just decided to pull the rug and cease all trading of these pairs abruptly? Effectively people losing ALL they had in it!?!?

Go Big or Go Home.

Not trying to get out of topic but... you're necromancing a dead thread anyway, so... I assume this is the new owner of the account talking?

This account that I'm on. I don't need it anymore, so decided to sell.

I always post in old open threads. Look at the history of my posts you will see who I am part of crypto dev wise.

Hey JUSTIN! List Devcoin (DVC), Horizon (HZ), and Tenebrix (TBX) -- thanks.

Also you owe me about $10 Million in "couch cushion" DUST -- but we can call it a cool $2 M. Which will go to the Devcoin foundation and setting up a REAL Devcoin crypto DAO/DAC to build out.

THANKS H.E.

Nope it's still mine, but since when is it against the rules to post on old threads? Are you the Post police ?

And ps, yes, your 'Tag Line' on your profile is fully correct. You ARE one.  Cheesy

I have not yet gotten my own fund. I'll be sure to let you know when I do. Don't want to question this exchange if it hasn't done anything to raise questions about it. However, 48 hours have passed since the ticket was submitted and no action has been taken by the administration. I would feel more at peace if the admin simply said, "I'm working on it." still waiting for my fund.
