what's the ROI of running a masternode? Might be interested.

Around 23% a year if the price remains the same; higher if it goes up, lower if it goes down.
However there will be a gradual increase of MN payments at the expense of miners so the ROI is likely to go up.

If MN numbers increase with increased MN block reward, profitability will stay the same. Still, ~20% after costs is pretty damn good.

Yeah I had a bunch deleted recently too, yet racism and homophobia are perfectly fine apparently, they should change the message you get -

"Your post was deleted due to insufficient hate, poison and bigotry. Try not to let this happen again!"
I had a gaggle of deletions. All troll rebuttals. The obnoxious nonsense is still there. The posts that actually say something useful are deleted...

NEW: Darkcoin (DRK) Lotto @ DRKLotto.com

All lotteries have a 1 in 50 chance of winning for each ticket purchased.
I am a huge Darkcoin supporter and I will keep all the payouts honest and fair.
I will use http://random.org to pick the winners.

Please join the lotto's and help to get drklotto.com started!

I might hold a special lotto for the first people to buy tickets (in the near future)

Hey Karl did u pick winners for the first round yet?

Darkcoin now Trading on Europe’s most secure Exchange !

ccedk.com, a Danish exchange renowned for its security, have announced that they are now accepting Darkcoin. Trading with Darkcoin will include, amongst others, trading pairs such as the Euro and the Russian ruble
opening up further possibilities for Darkcoin's increasing popularity.

ccedk.com is presented as the first crime-free cryptocurrency trading platform. Boasting a dual-language English/Russian interface it is aimed at a wide audience, but has often been overlooked. Notably there are plans for further interfaces in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Danish and Chinese suggesting expansion is on the horizon.

Their security-conscious approach is likely to be welcomed as cryptocurrency users become more cautious in the face of well-known exchange collapses such as Mt. Gox. To counter such a possibility ccedk.com keeps a reserve fund, amounting to thirty-percent of the crypto currencies revenue, to protect their customers in the case of losses. This is a major innovation akin to how major banks refund the victims of fraud that grants customers a degree of security in the event of being targeted by criminal elements. As more and more users of cryptocurrencies begin to enter the marketplace it is important that more institutions take financial security into consideration.

In terms of trading the site has promised Skrill integration in the coming months which will make depositing fiat a breeze. Also impressive is the range of fiat currencies which can be used including Danish/Norwegian kroner, British pounds, US dollars and Euros, accounts can be funded SWIFT wire transfers, SEPA, and Deposit and withdraw in RUB/UAH/EUR/USD, using more than 150 payment options in terms of funding with the Payment Service Provider Payee!
One notable feature of ccedk.com is the remarkable degree of transparency on offer. They are confident enough to post the details of their lawyer and they are clear that they will follow the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) regulations to help integrate cryptocurrency trading into the mainstream, including its regulations. With this layer of legal adherence a core feature of the site it is clear that ccedk.com will emerge as one of the safest exchanges and is surely a strong recommendation when tempting newcomers into the world of cryptocurrency.

It is worth noting that the security of ccedk.com can be usefully combined with the privacy offered by specific cryptocurrencies and, in particular, that of Darkcoin. This coin already has a large following in Europe and is
gaining further traction in Russia, Ukraine, Poland and many others. In this manner ccedk.com is the perfect home for Darkcoin trading given its dual-language interface. Darkcoin, which anonymizes transactions if one chooses, has slowly emerged as the major alternative to Bitcoin and with new innovations appearing daily it is grow even further. As Darkcoin enters the mainstream alongside secure and transparent exchanges such as ccedk.com we will find ourselves in the mature position of combining financial security with financial privacy opening up cryptocurrency to ever wider adoption.

My DRK has not been deposited after 28 confirmations. Something isn't right.

I just want to confirm that my deposit went through ok. It turns out they ask you for the sender's address and the amount on the deposit page, but I just sent it to the address like I normally do.

I only changed the price per ticket. We now have a 1DRK, 3DRK (changed from 10DRK)  & 5DRK (changed from 100DRK) lotto's. They still have 50 tickets per round.

as for the 1DRK (45DRK total prize) lotto, we have sold 10 tickets so we need to sell 40 more and then we will pick the winners.

Why Privacy Matters

Glenn Greenwald was one of the first reporters to see — and write about — the Edward Snowden files, with their revelations about the United States' extensive surveillance of private citizens. In this searing talk, Greenwald makes the case for why you need to care about privacy, even if you’re “not doing anything you need to hide."

Darkcointalkers...

If you think we should stop sending our new users to mintpal, please upvote ----> this post <----

If you think mintpal's current service is a great introduction to Darkcoin for our new users, keep scrolling.
I agree completely, get them out of Mintpal ASAP, and direct new DRK traders to Bter and Bittrex instead, in my opinion.  Bter also pays you a small interest payment for your DRK balance (usually between .3-.45% annually), so even if trading is slow, you will get some small profit in the meantime.  Bittrex has lower volume and no interest bonus, but I do think it's a solid exchange as well.
Bitfinex... we are the only alt on there besides LTC. We deserve to support them, plus they offer USD as an option. More volume and we might get margin trading...
BitFinEx is the only one that hasn't sucked hard so far... They put up DRK/USD a long time ago. If I were them I'd feel slighted that DRKers were still pointing at MintGox. Then again, I don't have feelings...

Cryptsy works well with all its idiosyncrasies (once you get used to them) although I'm definitely going to give Bitfinex more or a chance.  I've got an account with them, just never really used any of the others while Mintpal V1 was still around.

Agree on that, almost never used MP myself , mainly use Cryptsy , but indeed bitfinex is a great one that only has 2 alt coins , also this one is more " civilized " , believe not only Altcoin geeks are there but also investors ect  , I'll stick with Cryptsy for the moment because of actual volume on the trade.

Darkcoin @CCEDK_ Oct. 10th, register with 2FA, Sell and Buy orders trading directly DRK to BTC/LTC/DOGE/RDD/BTSX/EUR/USD/DKK/RUR

This is why Darkcoin price won't go up we don't have volume for whales to come, and we have like a million 25% of the coins locked up, yet more exchanges appear so we have even less coins in each exchange.   Sad

Totally agree , we should have 1 or 2 trading platforms with high volumes ,this should attacked others to join.

We could vote for the best 2 platforms on which we could all go , ( but sorry honestly don't know how to set up though technically )saw some already over here.

We could choose following :

Bitfinex
C-Cex
Cryptsy
Bluetrade
Kraken
Kingcoiny
CCEDK
Bittrex
Mintpal ( if not grounded yet )
All trade

Is someone might know how to put up the statistics I'll put my vote on Bitfinex and Cryptsy ( biggest volume already )

When finished we could offer outcome on Darkcointalk.org

If anyone might be interested , more ideas/options are welcome

Thanks all

I can't even login to the support site to check the status of my ticket. This is the fifth day I've had an open ticket with support and over a week now with no access to my coins. Wow! I should feel lucky I don't have ALL my coins there, I'd be very concerned. Cry

So Bitfinex is the community choice?
