Just wanted to give an update on Redd.OakPool.com. Yesterday afternoon we were hit with a DDOS that slowed our server to the point we had to take it down. We used that downtime to upgrade the servers and hardware on our end to better prevent future attacks. Unfortunately, when we brought our servers back up we encountered a bug with the dashboard. Specifically, one of the issues was that the dash wasn't showing new information when we solved a block and moved onto the next one. We've fixed the bug and the dash is showing correct info.

I want to reassure everyone that has been mining with us, even though the dash wasn't displaying correct info all of your shares and coins for each block were recorded correctly. You will see that reflected on your dashboard with the coins you earned from each block in your pool wallet, or if you've already had them sent to your personal wallet you will see the coins there. No shares were lost. No coins were lost.

I apologize for the undue stress this has caused you guys. I personally run 15 mh and when pool issues arise I know the kind of annoyance and stress it causes, I'm sorry. As always, to show our appreciation we will continue to give out rewards and bonuses at OakPool, so please join us! If you have any questions you can msg me here, through the pool, or on IRC at freenode.net #oakpools.

Redd.OakPool.com is STILL giving away Reddcoins to ALL block finders!

We're currently under a DDOS attack at Redd.OakPool.com. This is the same thing that happened last night. We're working on resolving it.

If more people have issues with *trustincoins* we should take it off the pool list.

But at ~10 satoshis, Redds have a lot of room to grow!

Doge has serious investor/speculator whatever you want to call it to push up the price. Whereas Redd is relying on more organic investors. Again ~20 Satoshi is the least it can do.

What percentage of the existing coins are pre-mined?
    11,060,060,020 total exist

So about half the coins that exist are pre-mine right? Around 5+ billion?

https://www.mintpal.com/voting vote for redd! You can make 3 votes per hour or so. Wolong is on this exchange pumping coins like he did to doge (32 to 200+ sat) so keep voting and spread the word!

If you're having difficulties with DDOS'ed pools and whatnot, you can always try P2Pool, been having steady payouts throughout all the turmoil.

Quote
P2Pool (1% fee) up here:

http://redd.freily.com:9443

If you want to mine on it just use an address of your own as username, password doesn't matter.

Example:
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://redd.freily.com:9443 -u RfniMLPqcX8uSRjNGxhBmGZrbZZefWD4Tc -p x

* No registration required!
* Your payout goes immediately to your wallet after the block drops, the confirmations will happen there

Incidentally, for people behind a proxy at work who want to check up on the pool, you can do so by using the HTTP port (don't use it for cgminer!)
http://redd.freily.com

If you want to setup your own, software is here:

https://github.com/MathyV/p2pool-rav

Also, the code was merged to Rav3n's repo so anyone preferring that one can use it without worrying about nodes not connecting.

Yes 5+ billion. ALL premined coins where sold in the 2 ipco's. The money brought in was something like 300 btc's, they will be used for promotions and developments.
For me RDD is the most promising coin. RDD is not even 1 month old and look what is happening to the "social media coin".
