Baaa boom!

First stake has arrived and it is of shocking amount: Credit: 150 488.55460905 RDD (matures in 49 more blocks) 150K approx, that is a lot.. and caught by surprise...

Beautiful work by reddcoin dev team, everything appears to be stable, checking market to see (but I doubt it) of any "opportunity" on low as I would like to up my total amount if at all possible.

This is GREAT coin

0 energy was spent, 0 ASIC equipment, just left wallet up and running overnight, POSv is in effect.. fascinating...

Are u mean ,u recieve 150488 RDD every 8 hours ?

no of course not, 150K is annual, haha I wish it would be every 8 hours, the credit amounts will be split off 150K and credits will be issued in 1000 RDD's that is what is happening now, and technology is working perfect

my advice to you all (because I am old dog in terms of crypto > 1 year thats old  Cool run borrow from grandma FIAT, pull piggy out, and buy as much as you can afford (but no more than you can lose it all)... brb still investigating multi-pool

150 K / 5 x 100 is 3 million.

yes Cat correct, should be 100K annual, confused self from the excitement as 150K is staking amount on (so close to 100K which is correct)

overall tech is working perfect and I kind of knew it would (based on my analysis of forums/social) on dev background etc

but it is now obvious that "road map" is real and it will be delivered above the competition

and you just gave me a hint to maybe reach out and purchase 1 mil + to reach 150K , that could mean a lot of dough in the future

and no worries I am for a long haul and I mean years into the future

5% of 4 mill is 200,000 /365 days = 547 per day. But it's only average, sometime you may find a big block another time no block or some bonus dunno Smiley

funny, finally traders are upping bids (cryptsy), good, with every % point in bitcoin price drop they add few st to reddcoin.. I mean they have all figured it out, for me if someone catches bait, redd will slide lower (temporarily) see what happens.. I am self very conservative and holding FIAT as I have already amount stated

0.00000024   188,755,268.32654685   45.30126440

also if anyone has run mulitpool and can provide experience, please post here and experience with it, multipools do work but they would take my machinery off certain coins and I better have a good reason for it (% wise)

thanks much!

I think RDD need merchant who accept RDD as payment. I do not want to just invest in RDD but buy some stuff using RDD, and I think It will make RDD will grow bigger.

volume that is volume of # people holding RDD (and staking to secure network continously) will make business consider it for commerce, I have certain coin that I am targeting for ATM machines (right next to bitcoin) and they are coming, with the RDD (but I am not driving road map) I see HUGE potential for "instant buys" online

anyways, crawling out of my den and out of cables and into the light to enjoy Sunday  Cool best wishes to all!

Anybody know when I might be able to get my coins off Bittrex?

Actually they just got back to me and said it was hopefully within an hour.

For all who might had trouble with the new wallet, you should read this post.

http://www.reddit.com/r/reddCoin/comments/2cga55/mandatory_upgrade_v1310_and_official_video/

"Dear fellow Reddheads:

Mandatory upgrade to wallet v1.3.1.0

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We've just fixed a client-side bug that causes corrupted blockchain error when you restart wallet v1.3.0.0. It's very straightforward to make it work, just three steps:
-Download the latest binaries here or compile using tag v1.3.1.0
-Shut down your existing wallet and replace the binary with v1.3.1.0
-Start your wallet and happy staking!
-There is no need to rebuild or resync blockchain. But if you are in the middle of the process, obviously you have to finish it.
-If you are one of the few who still have crash problems due to assert failure in checkpoints.cpp, you need one extra step: delete sub-folder txleveldb under the Reddcoin home folder, but nothing else. Then start wallet v1.3.1.0

Where to find your Reddcoin home folder?
Windows: C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Reddcoin
Mac: /Users/USER NAME/Library/Application Support/Reddcoin
Linux:~/.reddcoin

If you are one of the very few who encounter this System error: CDB(): can't open database file wallet.dat, it means the tx index in wallet.dat was corrupted (usually due to improper shutdown of wallet). There are two ways to solve it. Close your wallet first and then 1) use a backup copy of your wallet.dat to replace the current one 2) or start wallet with existing corrupted wallet.dat but with -salvagewallet on command line or salvagewallet=1 in reddcoin.conf

Any problem, post comment below.
Regards
laudney"

Yes thanks. I have read that and tried to find that sub older which I cannot. Have looked everywhere for it. I have completely deleted my v1.2.1.0 wallet, so it is no longer there to shut down. The new v1.3.1.0 will not install. If any one can tell me where to find txleveldb maybe I could get somewhere however I have searched and can't find it. It seems that on the reddit blog many have not succeeded deleting this subfolder. If I could find it I would give it a go....thanks for the help...this is what I am getting

Assertion failed! Program: C;\Program Files (x86)\Reddcoin\reddcoin-qt.exe File db/versionset.cc, Line803 Expressions: dummy versions.next== &dummy_versions

Snowcrawl, Thanks for that! I did exactly what you said except for one thing. I did not delete the new wallet.dat file. Also Lemon and fries I did not wait for it to finish syncing, so maybe if I had waited the coin had would have returned to the wallet. What I managed to do was restore the old wallet and luckily the coin was still there. Phew! So I decided to get someone else to set up a Reddcoin wallet on their computer and sent the coin to their wallet. Deleted everything on my computer and ran the new v1.3.1.0, thinking it would be easy, but no, I am stil getting this msgs,

"Assertion failed! Program... File: src/checkpoint.cpp Line 285

Expression: mapBlockIndex.count(hashSyncCheckpoint)"

It seems I can't win, what with each wallet I am trying to download giving me issues!

Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it. On hindsight if I had waited for the wallet to sync I might have been ok!
Any suggestions are gladly received on my new issue.
i do have the old wallet.dat on a USB

run it with command prompt
.\reddcoin.exe -reindex

running with -reindex did not work for me.. does anyone have a fix for this??

Can some one tell me how to do this please?

run it with command prompt
.\reddcoin.exe -reindex

I have deleted the subfolder txleveldb that many times and it is not working and keeps coming back.

I don't know how to run a command prompt but if someone spells it out I can work it out.

Weird! I just changed accounts on my computer and it is downloading just fine now!! The only 2 differences is it is another account/same computer and that I used windows explorer instead of Firefox when I downloaded off of Reddcoin site. Too strange!??

If you still need it: press the windows bullet left bottom of your screen. Search for CMD.exe. That's the command prompt, just start it.

For windows only.

Backup the wallet.dat file. IF this is backed up already on USB stick then you skip this step.

You can find this by doing. Open up run command (Windows key + R)

Type in box and press enter

%appdata%

When this opens you will have a folder in there called “redcoin” (If you cant see these folders they are hidden . You need to change the folders settings to “view system files. Google will help you)

Inside this folder is the wallet.dat (This holds the information and coins) Copy this somewhere safe.

Now delete this folder completely.

Uninstall the wallet application from the control panel.

Install the new wallet with the new .exe

Open wallet and let it sync completely.

Close wallet.

Go back and get to the %appdata% folder.

You will now see a new “redcoin” folder with a new wallet.dat file

Now copy your backed up wallet file into this folder and overwrite it.

Open wallet it should show the coins.

Keep analyzing. Before you know it the moment has passed already.

no kidding, you have no idea how nervous I am, I have "ok" position but not like above was quoted, I am also pulling my hair out as I rejected reddcoin months ago , but such is life.. I still have some time, noticed people are dumping and price dips and people are buying ridding it's wave. smart...

I am looking at any sign that would be what I call "AUR" syndrome, preparation for massive lift for sell off by the few

there is one address with huge # of coins, also this reddit thing (registered (fake ?) users and active users ratio)...

Honestly ask yourself, is there a better crypto currency to invest in right now? I can't find one, with the same dev team, $100k from a successful IPO and grand ambitions. I'm willing to bet we'll be in the top 3 crypto currency's within the next 2 months. If this does take of, and you invest enough now, this coin will make you rich. But as always this nothing more than a gamble, so you have to be willing to lose this investment as well. If you're fine with that, I think this is a no-brainer under 30 SAT.

Care to put some money behind those words?
