Just started mining this. and I am getting some sort of error message in the wallet... " Checkpoint is too old. Redownload the blockchain. If warning persists contact the Development team"

Ok now a few questions..

#1) Do I really need to redownload the entire block chain?
#2) If yes to 1, how? ( Im a new miner..is this somthing to do with the app data folder? )
#3) If no to 1, is there a new wallet in the works so this message does not make me nervous?

-Thanks

i had this message and just redownloaded the new client and relaunched and that message went away.

CASH up 40% last 6 hours, 3k almost. Soon to go back to 5k. - Am I glad I bought 1k yesterday at 2200  Cool -

Keep faith boys n girls .. Smart Coin & Penguin are taking serious hashing away.

Just did a quick calculation:

7MH/s yields around 450 coins at 0.0003 = 0.135 BTC a day @ $750 = $100.
Electricity cost at a high price of $0.25 = $20

Still profitable just to mine and sell.

I used everything I had, should have sold 350k DOGE at 160 (bought from CASH profits at 140) and be done with it, was thinking it would go to 170 by now and CASH won't recover to 4000 until later today.

The Hashing power has not caught up with the price just yet .. profits double now!

Thanks for the reply, yes I downloaded the whole folder via mega download ran cash-qt and there it sits, 0 active connections for the past few hours I even reset it before that and nothing. I do not think its a firewall issue as all my other wallets are working just fine. Did you add a .conf file to appdata?

Try - right click Run As Admin.

Windows firewall should pop up and ask to allow connection, so if that didn't happen, maybe turn off firewall for a minute.

Mine coins in any case, difficulty is creeping up now.

Diff 8.5 from 6 just 4 hours ago. Price is up almost double, so expect diff 10 today.

If the wallet didn't get buggered a bit and spooked folks, we'd be at 0.001 now. Let it grow (just don't blame if you buy above 5000 and there is profit taking down to 3500)

Does Cryptsy always have trouble with faethercoins?
Got an incoming feathercoin deposit to cryptsy to sell to buy Cash that has gone AWAL.
I've been mining cash quietly since 6 days after it launched and decided to shift some of my feathercoins to Cryptsy to top up what I have mined already.
This is my 5th transaction on Cryptsy with feathercoins and the fourth time I've had to contact support to get it sorted.
Won't be touching feathercoins on Cryptsy after I get this one sorted will leave them on vircurex where I've had no problems ever.

i feel we were right in assuming this coin was being downplayed on cryptsy. cash is looking very solid right now that it seems we've outplayed the bots/dumpers. .0004 is a fair price for second round investors to what was a very good coin from day one. that 10btc sell wall at .00047 should learn that he shouldnt leave his cash laying around like that, someone might take it  Roll Eyes

Is the wallet working? I downloaded the latest one "v1.1.0.0-g32a928e-CASH" and it's not syncing. Every other wallet I have works apart from this one.
