Is the wallet working? I downloaded the latest one "v1.1.0.0-g32a928e-CASH" and it's not syncing. Every other wallet I have works apart from this one.

Same boat as you, I have downloaded from all sources running latest wallet. Even restarted the computer, disabled firewall for a few minutes and nothing is happening, no sync at all! Did we need to add a config file to the app folder?

if only i could turn back time.. lol

the math behind this coin seems to be working very well. i wont even risk margin trading it since diffs can change so rapidly. ive set a hard price of .001 per cash, but i speculate much on 1cash = 1 ltc in time to come. we're still at half price in relation to the current diff i believe. cant say that ive seen any other altcoin get a better start on cryptsy since ive been into crypto. which is only a few months. but i will say i wondered how well this coin would do without gravity well. whatever the devs did with this scryptcoin really shows strong balance and performance between the distribution and difficulty adjustment. i am pretty sure we will see cash rise and even hold steady at .001btc within a month if not sooner. i guess we'll see how it goes. just hope i can get enough for a rig upgrade before this train shoots off  Tongue

Hm inspecting the debug window it shows that I get auto banned from the IRC that is trying to connect for the peer exchange. Any dev that can look it up and sort the issue for us. We can't sync our wallets!

If you ask me that is Cryptsy manipulating the market. I was mining NET for a while and suddenly all deposits got stuck for 2 days. The price went up but I didnt have any to sell, they were STUCK somewhere in Cryptsy pockets because block chain showed they are all confirmed 48 hours ago.

NET was at 1500 or so that was two weeks ago.

Cryptsy suddenly started releasing NET very slowly but also started DUMPING the coins to buyers who were unaware of this built up and were lining up. Sale orders in excess of 200,000 NET came through and crashed the price down to below 1300. Avg seller on NET is 50~10 coins. Sell orders of 200,000 came through in a flash. NET has yet to recover.

Same thing is happening to CASH right now, buyers have lined up to over 30,000 Satoshi, only because new mined coins are not reaching Cryptsy.

Next coin that comes out we have to vote for it NOT to get on Cryptsy and NOT to get on coinwarz for 2 months at least.

i agree its very suspicous. a few times here or there could be technical glitches but its all too coincidental, pretty obvious what they are doing. damn.

I have to add that Cryptsy ALWAYS has fixed my missing coin issue but ONLY IF I AM WATCHING AND OPEN A TICKET, if I miss out doing lots of research in my pools and finding deposits and comparing to Cryptsy and diggin out the TX ID and reporting them, then the coins are gone. I probably have lost a lot because I use multiminer and it switches pools and my pools are set to automatic deposit.

One good thing that came out of this was that I am buying a lot of NET at an excellent price around 1200, because it is slated to half the blocks in 28 days and that would double the price alone, plus speculators will usually start buying like ten days before that so now its the time for me to build up. NET was going for 4,000 a month ago and it is a solid coin. It was never premined and all initial developers have mostly cashed out so it is an even playground now. It does not have a stupid theme or meme, its a regular currency thast does not attach to stars, earth, dogs, smartness, metals, nothing. Its a currency to trade online with. It has a prestigeous foundation backing it up and promoting it constantly. The Chinese also think its the 3rd coin after BTC and LTC. I believe it has the potential to become #1.

People are starting to talk about this cryptsy behavior on some of the trollboxes and forums.

It is pretty easy to see what they are doing.  Well, that or an inability to fix an ongoing problem that always happens to appear in the same manner where most of the public has stuck trades build.

Again, it is a pattern that has been going on, but now more people are talking about it and seeing it.

What is sad is that cryptsy looks to be foregoing greater future profits with this action.  Skim a few btc now or have a trusted name later....  The alt coin marketplace that gets it all right will be a money making machine, maybe people in the know are giving up.  Maybe due to a company like google creating a crypto exchange/secure wallet platform.

Stop being noobs, Cryptsy isnt manuplating the markets, you all seem to forget its a COMPANY behind it that has employees that needs to get paid. You really think they would do that to gain a little extra when they know when coins is gonna be added to exchange?

They can just buy alot of the coin the are gonna add and its gonna be at 100% the rate when it hits cryptsy before, so much ignorance seriously and so much bullshit. Get over urselves.

Nobody is arguing they buy before.  What we are saying is that they then throttle the deposits so they can sell those coins without any pressure.  As you can see people can't get cash coins into cryptsy atm.  Some going on many hours.

Go ahead try and deposit some cash coins and see if you are able to take advantage of the current price anytime today, you can't.   When they have sold off their coins like you said they accumulated before, you see the flood of released deposits come in.  It is a pattern now.   That or option 2 they can't fix what keeps going on at the very same times over and over.

You think people here are crying because we think cryptsy bought  " x " coin ahead of time and then sells it?  Maybe some are but most of us just want a reasonable market.  Up or down people need to be able to buy and sell when they feel is right not days later.

And before you go arguing about it is affecting just some.. no, it happens all at once with whatever coin they need to slow the sell pressure on.   Doge, or new alt x coin.. always the same....

Then again maybe they are just that bad at what they do and this exact same problem repeats itself over and over because they are unaware how to fix it.  Just happens the select few can max their gains because nobody can deposit to sell.

well if you were correct then those employee's should be doing their jobs, releasing the incoming deposits and sorting out the technical issues (if there is such a thing!) stopping deposits going through.

either way, something is wrong, the debate is wether or not its on purpose but we all agree something is wrong! surely ?

you might have to place line noirc=1 in your conf file to avoid getting banned on irc channel. i think the dev went to bed. i also just took a short and overdue nap.
