People are starting to talk about this cryptsy behavior on some of the trollboxes and forums.

It is pretty easy to see what they are doing.  Well, that or an inability to fix an ongoing problem that always happens to appear in the same manner where most of the public has stuck trades build.

Again, it is a pattern that has been going on, but now more people are talking about it and seeing it.

What is sad is that cryptsy looks to be foregoing greater future profits with this action.  Skim a few btc now or have a trusted name later....  The alt coin marketplace that gets it all right will be a money making machine, maybe people in the know are giving up.  Maybe due to a company like google creating a crypto exchange/secure wallet platform.

+1 it is a very predictable pattern. any profitable coin gets lost on cryptsy for no reason. a deposit is an automated process. there is no reason for a coin to get stuck.. fully confirmed yet not added to our balance unless someone put a manual stop on it or something.

rumour has it they use the coins in limbo to do their trading thing with the bot. but it is safe to say that we can never get a deposit into cryptsy for a profitable coin until after that coin has gone down significantly in price. as soon as u send your deposit prices start dropping. as the confirms come in, they start dropping faster. this is to force u into a cheap sale. as soon as u sell.. woops.. price starts rising.

cryptsy has killed just about every profitable opportunity for me, and cost me much losses. whether it's arbitrage trading or just to deposit my mined coins and get a good price for them. i always get locked out. either my withdrawal gets stuck for days when its selling at much better prices on another exchange, or my deposit gets stuck when the coin is selling high on cryptsy. of course they will lose business if they cost investors money instead of help them make it.

my cash deposit is also still missing from cryptsy atm. so taking a nap and waking up later doesnt seem to do much. but maybe 5000 tickets for the same issue will.

Edit: its the reason i havent sent more btc to buy cash there, every time i send money to cryptsy i wonder if i will ever get it back. i will say i have had great experiences on coinedup. their team is small, and they are underfunded but they are super duper efficient and provide excellent customer service. when they say they are performing upgrades, u see the improvement afterward. i once had an order issue with a stuck cancelled order, they replied within hrs and not only that, recoded the order handling to prevent that issue from ever happening. isnt that brilliant?? we just need to get them some more funding so that they can do more.

coinex and a bunch of other exchanges are really suping up their servers so soon we can shift our volume to those exchanges. i trust coinex and coinedup, they never stall my deposits or withdrawals. and that is the most important thing in all of crypto trading. im sure everyone agrees.

I've had nothing but trouble with Coinex. Still waiting for my account to get unlocked because I needed TFA disabling and a 2 week lockout was the only decent solution they had. It's now been about 4 weeks, I don't know if any of my coins have sold there or not.
Finally got a response from them today having submitted 3 further tickets to get it unlocked over the past 2 weeks.

Their preferred choices for disabling TFA were to send a copy of my passport/driving license (they have no information of tally that with) or tell confirm the exact time I created the account (wtf knows that? They don't send welcome emails). Account locking was only offered when I said no to the first 2.

And that's ignoring the mining problems, delayed deposits and trades that occurred at prices higher than my asking prices without one of my coins selling.

i know 2factor sounds nice, but it is currently less secure than just changing your password every month. i think most ppl, not just in crypto are having problems on sites where they use 2factor. personally i have never lost a dime on coinex. i did withdrawals and received double the amount but returned it. they were and still are in beta, but it's not just that. it's the sincerity that they are doing what they say they are doing. with cryptsy u can hardly believe anything.. they say they are doing this and that but u dont see the improvement after, then they are doing the same thing again and still u dont see any improvement. theyre always upgrading this that and the other and the same problems are always still there. i mean how long and how many tickets does it take to realize that just about everyone is having an issue with deposits of a certain coin, find the underlying issue and fix it permanently? especially siince it has happened so many times with so many other coins the same thing.

Have you called it cash.conf  ?

Have you put it in your roaming/cash folder?

I'v noted on Linux atleast it must be Cash.conf with a capital C. probably doesnt matter on winblows.

i dont know what is wrong with yours, its working for me and i guess most everyone else, so just trying to figure out what you might be doing wrong.

note : on my system (linux), it is Cash.conf not cash.conf and certainly not cashcoin.conf or Cashcoin.conf. so if you were trying those steps on my machine it wouldnt work either, as the name is wrong. maybe this helps, maybe not, dunno.
what is the folder called in your home path ? Cashcoin, cashcoin, cash, Cash or otherwise? name the .conf file exactly the same as the folder.

So Cryptsy taking advantage of us that we don't have a working block explorer?  They want the transaction ID number.  The only way I know to get it is looking up my address and seeing it from there.
