... We check the forum daily but vanishing coins...... Well lots of people in these forums can answer that one.

Great that Dev is back.. but the fact is...if you had noticed, no one on this thread has been able give a satisfactory explanation about the vanishing coin...

6000 coins may mean nothing to early miners...maybe all have 600,000 cash... but it would probably take my rig 30 days or more to get 6000 cash.

So my take is that this problem is being dismissed too quickly instead of being taken seriously...

exactly, and thankyou for sticking up for me! (and i believe, sticking up for the coin!).

so far, the dev has talked about 'me' vicariously to other posters but not once addressed me, or sent me shit about my questions or in any way whatsoever even attempted (to my knowledge) to answer any of my questions. This is pretty poor.

Benefit of the doubt he was busy doing 'whatever' but now that he is answering other people, why has he not once posted anything to me Sad im pretty disappointed.

Im an honest person, im doing things by-the-book, i have mined 10's of other coin types for months, i know what missing means, i know what im looking at or not looking at, his passing comments of "if its not in the chain it didnt exist" is kind of insulting cause what does that take me for!

i am certainly losing confidence now (even though after losing coins i did not lose confident, i was happy to have an explanation/investigation and continue) given his apparent lack of 'give a f**k toward the issue.

better things to do than mine rubbish, ya know what i mean Smiley

edit : incase i was not clear : i love the idea of CashCoin! i want to continue! but the Dev's behaviour is really affecting my decision at this point.

Why don't you post your wallet receive address here? So we can check it on the block explorer.

I have 3 times already : here it is again below - note: you would have to read back many many posts to see everything i have posted on the subject, all true, all fact.

note note : I AM STILL mining CashCoin because i believe in it!, i am not trying to hurt the coin here! I really do thank everyone for their help trying to find out whats up so far! i just hoped that when the Dev chimed in on the subject he may have addressed me and had something to say, other than i must be wrong which is simply not plausible.

Coins do not go missing now there are reasons you might think they did a small fork or reversal happens on every coin. Maybe rescan or redownload the blockchain but if they are not in the explorer then they did not exist. I have seen nothing so far with this coin that would be an issue. Its based on pretty solid code so any concerns with it you would have to have the same with NVC and PPC.

Be good if you could be around to answer this kind of thing pretty rapidly, it installs doubt for hours on end. This kind of FUD even if the person genuinely believes it is very damaging if not answered quickly.

Some of the best coins technically has lost out to shitclones time and time again due to devs not being around to answer questions quickly and drum up some community.

amen.

i am not upset if i have truly lost my coins, thats a risk with 'new coins' i suppose : but i just wanted some kind of feedback but to get this kind of response from him is really disheartening.

"Minebig shows the sum of all credits (coined mined?) at under 600", did you contact Minebig about it? 7000KH/s can't mine 6000 CASH in days...

wow. where to start with that;

1.
maybe it doesnt now but at the time the 5000 to 8000 kh/s bloody did mine thousands! its simply a fact, not only did they show up in minebig but they arrived in our linux wallet (still current version, as that has not been updated). seen as many transactions over a number of days, confirmed and in the balance! nothing else going on except mining.

2.
minebig ... how can it be their problem after it was already in our wallet, piece by piece over a period of days, with a number of confirmations. simply does not make any sense that it has anything to do with minebig apart from their 'transaction history' showing it now incorrectly which is obviously an artefact of the chain missing my coins! I cant blame minebig in any way, they sent us the coins, we had the coins .. whats it got to do with them ? nothing funny there. As far as i know, a mining outfit can not reverse a transaction! (and if you read previous posts, there are NO outgoing transactions in our "./cashcoin listtransactions" apart from a 100cash test to openex which is when the trouble came.

i have nothing to gain here, i dont care about the missing coins, but please dont insult me by saying im lying or that i misread the value (which i must have read 50 times over the week! along with plenty of calculator jobbies to see what it would be worth in btc according to openex, as well as the independent people i have here who were also mining (to the same wallet) who lost too! (as a shared sum, we lost about 6000 cash coins)).

"Minebig shows the sum of all credits (coined mined?) at under 600", did you contact Minebig about it? 7000KH/s can't mine 6000 CASH in days...

Yes, these days the difficulty was nearly 7, 7000 KHS can't mine 6K coins in the 3 days, maybe you can check your TRANSACTION  in your pool account.

whatever. question already been answered before, what can i say.

with half the hashes today minebig shows 400coins per day, that means i would be doing 800 coins per day "today", so a week ago that was more. so 4 or so days at around 7000/8000 kh/s got us between 5000 and 6000 coins ... it just bloody did. it was there, it was a balance, it was confirmed. we read it, we saw it, we sent 100cash of them to openex. then we had 600 for no apparent reason.

sooo ummmm whatever that means.

i AGREE there is no logical explanation, hence why i registered on this (only forum discussing cashcoin that i could find) to comment on it.. what else would i do.

saltybrains, personally I believe you, but it would proof to others that you're not lying just posting a screenshot from minebig pool with "transactions" opened and showing "debit_AP" and "debit_MP". If you had these coins, there will be log of withdrawal to your wallet there.

You have 6000 cash that disappeared? wow.. that's a lot and it sucks. I have been mining 3 days and i barely have 1000.. Sad

Not me...its saltybrains who have lost 6000 coins. His first post was on pg 30, 31st Jan.

Also no one seems able to confirm how the POS will compute out for this coin. So far everyone has their own imagination...which may or may not be correct. Dev seems unwilling or unable to give a definitive comment...
