Or how can I find the tracking code via Myups?

Cheers,

If you are from US you can, register on myups.com. If not simply call ups like I did.

I have a myUPS account (have for some time) and do live in the US. It's still empty though. And since my payment wasn't withdrawn from the account I was to pay into, I'm concerned my order was somehow missed. We'll see though! Maybe UPS is being slow about collecting data? I've never seen a package miss myUPS, but there's a first time for everything! Whenever you get the chance Sushi, verification (one way or the other) would be very greatly appreciated!

I notice there's a wireless antennae interface on this here antminer.  Has anyone used the wireless on this device and is it stable?

Hiya

Mr UPS man just came by my house this morning, though I wasn't at home.

Though i`m happy with the fast shipment, I must say that communication wise it could be somewhat improved.
Perhaps by changing order state to shipped or processed and send a notification of the status change by e-mail?

Anyway, Thanks for the fast shipment!

Cheers,

H@shKraker

I ran 2 off of wireless for about a month before hooking them up to a wired connection.  It works, but will lose connection for time to time, without an obvious reason.  Sometimes it would good 2 weeks without issue and others it would disconnect every few minutes without being babysat for a restart.  I'd still recommend using wired for long term but the wireless is good enough to use it in a pinch.  I would NOT try it if you live in a wireless heavy area like an apartment complex, my area is fairly wireless free and a still had some problems.

EDIT:  The miners were downstairs and across the house from my router which was upstairs, the signal strength on the miners was decent still.  Naturally wireless just isn't as stable.

I has built in wireless but the setup instruction linked on page one of this thread suggest that its not reliable. The previous poster mentioned that, alternate wireless instructions are included on that post as well.

Even though the Bitmain AntMiner supports built-in Wi-Fi mining, to get the best out of the miner while running Wi-Fi at home, here is an easy solution for you and we tested it for over 24-hours and so far it’s working.

You can use any similar items to make it work.  We picked readily available item at the US BestBuy Sotre.  Netgear Model#: WNCE2001-100NAS.  (Price was $49.99)

If you happens to be living in a dorm, apartment or wherever you can only access to the internet via Wi-Fi, this will make the Bitmain Antminer believe it’s connected to the wired Ethernet and this will not stress the miner.

Bandwidth use during the last 24-hours or more like 36 hours happened to be RX: 38.86 MB (161800 Pkts.) & TX: 14.68 MB (105524 Pkts.)

We purchased the above item to test it out with the Bitmain AntMiner and it worked!

Holy F8 S8

SUSHI Is now the second re-seller/manufacturer to ever deliver an ASIC to me within 14 days! That makes 2/13 and doubles my success rate!

Regardless thanks sushi, the ant arrived perfect and was up and hashing in under 2 minutes.  No issues whatsoever.

Order # was about 350 ordered on the 21st.

Mine is due in today. Does it have regular pci-e connections or do you have to cut up a pic-e extender?

For the wireless thing I think I'm gonna go with the NETGEAR - IEEE 802.11n 300 Mbps Wireless Bridge solution.  Seems brain dead simple to me.

The new ones all have regular pci-e connections on the PCB.  I've order 11 Ants from Sushi, the first 2 (from GB 2 or 3, can't remember anymore, mid december order) had pci-e extensions with them.  All the rest have had connections directly on them.

Out of three miners one of mine looked like that.   Its no big deal.   With the unit unplugged a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab will easily remove the excess thermal compound.   No noticeable impact to how well the machine works.
