Confirming it works, all the downloads are good and clean.

I used the windows installer, works OK.

I used cheetah3's peers.dat and the fixed-blocks file and they worked also, no problems.

The wallet exe works and loaded my wallet ok. My astros were there.

It synced in no time because I used the fixed-blocks file. Seconds.

I went to coinedup and got some astrocoin ASR and sent it to my wallet successfully, no problems.

I have been running it for a half a day, it's still ok.

cheetah3 needs a pat on the back.

This is what we have been waiting for I think.

A functional wallet with an updated OpenSSL version that isn't old and vulnerable,
like a lot of other altcoin wallets that still have to be updated.

Thank you cheetah3.

would anyone be interested in forming a team to "takeover" the takeover?
Or at least help with the development
and promoting ASR..

MY main ideas are: new website, hit up the major exchanges, making the currency useful outside of exchanges, and of-course updating the code and maintaining it

lets make a takeover from the takeover and i am a big science fiction fan.

let's do something!

Hiya's,

well, now that the wallet and syncing are working,

the pools and exchanges have vanished.

We'll have to do something.

Suggestions.

1. Mining Pool.

2. Exchange.

 Huh

Perhaps cheetah3 has some suggestion for which step to take next.

We have been given a working wallet, (Thank you.)
We need an exchange.
We need a mining pool.

I have no idea on how to make an exchange, so, we need lobbyists.

I might  be able to create a pool.
?? Never tried it though.

Have I got it right?

1. Mining Pool.

2. Exchange.

 Huh

too bad i think we need first a miningpool to keep the coin alive and secondary at least one exchange, maybe its better to ask a little one?
and as i said i can make a new website if someone has hosting space, i can help promoting and more  but unfortunaetly i have not much knowlegde with cryptos.

lets do something
we must do something  Grin

What's the last block that you have? Seems that I'm on different fork.
