Coin is trending a bit in the last 24 hours on Poloniex.
I didn't realize this coin has been around for two years already.
Very interesting and a good sign that some of these seed stores/ head shops accept it as a payment so there is actually something to do with it besides trading.
I'm going to buy a couple coins and hope for the best!

Not sure about Android. I'm a new POTcoin investor myself. Just downloading the wallet now. It does take a while. One downside to having a fast payment speed.

Hi you can download the bootstrap here http://www.potcoin.com/bootstrap.dat which is is the bulk of the blockchain here just put it in C:\Users\YOURUSERRNAME\AppData\Roaming\Potcoin then start the wallet and that should speed up the syncing still going to take some time depending on your pc and internet connection
you may also want to make a config file if you dont already have one in the same directory a text file saved as " potcoin.config " with the following text

Alright, I'm jumping on the bandwagon.

I think this coin has pretty good potential: it really does look like it offers a solution for the cannabis industry. Sure, banks will move-in eventually, but quite frankly I don't care! Why would a merchant want to pay 7 to 10% on each transaction, deal with chargebacks or have their accounts frozen?! Of worse - why would I - the consumer, have to pay a premium to offset the bank's risk?!
But forget that - with all that's about to happen with the marijuana industry, I'm definitely long on this thing.

Look at these early spikes - of course there's going to be a sell off right after, that's unsustainable! In April 2014, within two weeks the price went up 250%! Imagine someone moving in and out of positions with say 10K, wouldn't you want to cash in at 25K?

But look at the chart starting end of August 2016. The volume is almost the same as that in 2014 but the growth is much slower and the curve isn't as steep. Looks bullish to me.

Someone on this thread said they had no idea the coin was still around - exactly!! This means that all this time when nobody cared, this thing was being used! It actually serves a real purpose! And from what I hear, there are big news to be announced so I'm excited!
