Hey, mate.  You realize that you're already close to half the reported network hash rate, right?  I shut down the registration on Tagmining.Com when we hit 40% of the network hashrate for TAG.

I can appreciate the push as a pool OP to get the word out and pull members, but Potcoin really needs to spread the hash rate around to other pools.  It keeps the network healthy!

If new miners are just starting to mine Potcoin, please spread the hash rate around a little and support the smaller pools.

-Fuse

scryptominers :
Pool hash rate : 179.61 MH/s
Network hash rate : 310.48 MH/s

please stop invites, the pool has over 51% of the network hashing power at this moment.

I'm switching to Fuse's pool to spread the hash rate, I would encourage others to do the same until this has been addressed.

Nice coin and launch, I like it.

I'll toss a miner at this and help spread some hash around.  Err, hashing power.  Grin

Please be careful when doing business with new accounts on the forum! There are many scammers out there that are unfortunately taking advantage of people. This is always a problem with cryptocurrencies, don't lose out on money because you're too trusting!!!

Also there is now a PotCoin begging subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/potcoinbeg/

Also, starting now:

Pot.CripToe.Com will be doing a 10POT block finder bonus until further notice.

-Fuse

Anyone looking for a POT pool... join the CripToe pool... Fuse is a pool admin without peer... you will not find a more attentive or responsive pool operator anywhere.

I have pulled all but one of my miners from the pool to allow you to take advantage of the block finder bonus... I am donating all of the block finder bonuses that my miners find back to the pool to allow you benefit from the block finder bonus for a longer time... you may only have a short window of opportunity... as when I move my 10Mh/s back into the pool... your chance as a small miner to find a block is almost zero... so get those block bonuses while you can... then benefit from my hashing power when I bring my miners back online.

And to sweeten the deal... I will match the block bonus offered by Fuse for the next 100 blocks not found by me, or ny2cafuse(pool admin)... so point your miners at pot.criptoe.com now!!!

EDIT - The double block finders reward started with block #10117 found by dr_pepper... block #234 for the pool.

Attention all small hash-rate miners... 700Kh/s or less... here is your chance to make some extra POT... the largest miner is 2.4Mh/s... the more small miners that join... the greater chance of grabbing a few extra POT by finding a block... that equals an extra 20POT!!!

Point your miner toward pot.criptoe.com now!!

http://pot.ogres.org

Has excellent support and requires e-mail verification per unlock to unlock account settings.  With a million alt coin pool accounts over the years(aka unsure if reusing same info) its nice that they take an extra security measure over name/pw/pin.  At 10% of network and lots of blocks found.  Pool admin also is running lotto and sent us some freecoins.  Definitely a nice place to mine.  Pool has always been up for me, few stales, responsive admin--a good experience compared to so many bad I have encountered.

PVfCiyVN5R925gaR3YFoqwXfcwmNtGyGjr if you want to verify free +100 they are lottoing, pool payouts, or make me less poor! Cheesy

The market idea is extremely interesting.  I see this in two ways.  While legal in Colorado and illegal though unenforced federally, plenty of people still fear repercussions--consider CA and the state legally endorsed business that were raided federally and lost their life savings they invested.  Who wants their bank account linked with buying and selling?

Secondly, with many people dealing in cash, the shops, clubs, etc, risk robbery of both product and cash.  There is no store or business in the US that wants to make large cash sales and keep lots of cash on hand for this reason.  While to protect the businesses the currency would need to be stable, using it would not only protect them from robbery but make their customers feel more secure.  It does in fact have a potential that many altcoins do not.

In thinking about it, the biggest question that comes up is why not bitcoin which is established?  While we could argue in circles about it, the volatility is interesting.  Businesses that do not have the capital to treat it as an investment are cashing out instantly to secure value.  The question many people have is what is bitcoin's value based on?  With this coin, if the value is based against the market value of the product, then there is actually a physical product with real sale value to balance the value of the coin.  I'm sure both bitcoin and this idea could be argued a hundred ways but it is definitely an interesting consideration.
