i think bitcoin price will be effect to all coin not just ethereum but almost of them have pair to btc. so if price btc goes up/down they will follow it, even higher or lower. but alt coin price will not effect to btc, example we can see one coin pumping above 60% but btc still stagnan.

it affects so much, bitcoin is a king. when bitcoin is down, altcoins are down too even on bad market like now, many altcoins have no value
You can even predict the prices of altcoins watching only the growth of Bitcoin. When it is up, the tokens jump high, when it is down, alts are declining. Hope, in future BTC will not affect other cryptos so much.

Hey everyone, How strongly Altcoin value relate to bitcoin price. Can we know the condition of ETH/BTC ratio by analyzing BTC/USD value ?
If we evaluate the relationship of altcoin with bitcoin on a ten-point scale, then I will put 10. Their relationship at the moment is inextricable. Altos have always been and will be depending on bitcoin.

I think that is fair, because the decline that happened is a kind of decline from the global crypto market. the impact is not just on bitcoin and only a few altcoins. you yourself can see, all of my assets have decreased. Yes the matter is for the whole market right now. But still when any decision is made for the Bitcoin then the price of it affect the whole market and all of the coins follow the same pattern on which Bitcoin goes. It is because Bitcoin is the backbone of the whole crypto community.

yes of course this bitcoin price movement has an influence on altcoin price movements because no one is able to beat the price of bitcoin.
The status quo would remain unchanged in my opinion. I don't see how Btc could be dethroned and substituted to another altcoin.

the altcoin price is tied very strongly to the price of bitcoin, when the price of bitcoin falls then most of the prices of altcoins also decrease. but the decline cannot be measured by percentage because they do not fall in balance

All crypto price is connected to BTC when it comes to Fiat, But if you would look at it in crypto turns I mean for example 1 ETH =0.026BTC if the price of BTC goes down in Fiat the Fiat price for ETH would fall to but not the crypto price sometimes it would remain the same or it could go up but you wouldn't notice because you focus on Fiat price.

Today major alts are actually slightly outperforming bitcoin on a daily.
Principally if/as the price goes even lower, correlation between BTC and altcoins should weaken.
Perhaps sometime in the far far future with enough fundamental developments (intrinsic value perhaps), fiat gateways/alt pairings, major altcoins could eventually unpeg.

I would be generally satisfied if there were no Bitcoin acceptance to the rest of the cryptocurrency market. Why various promising projects suffer because the price of Bitcoin falls.

Bitcoin is the head of this market and the price of every altcoin depend on it, if btc dumps and all altcoins dumps and when btc pumps, then all market pumps all together so we must look to btc price first before invest to alts.

Altcoin price is very dependent on Bitcoin. If Bitcoin grows by 20%, then Altcoins can grow by 100-300%. and also in the case of a fall

There is direct price effect on altcoins. You know, I've traded stocks and S&P 500 affect other markets, so here is the same situation in crypto. Bitcoin is the main trigger for altcoins

the concentration movement of traders from bitcoin-altcoin is still the biggest even though this year there have been many conversions such as usdt and various exchange coins. But there are still many who believe that bitcoin can still be the best reference. this of course has an impact on increasing volume holders and if bitcoin experiences a price decline, many traders prefer direct conversion of coins that tend to be stable, but altcoin prices as a whole still follow bitcoin price references under any circumstances.

I didnt see any analysis about "ETH/BTC ratio by analyzing BTC/USD value" but If you observe the cryptocurrency, you will understand. If bitcoin's price will go down %5, Most of altcoins' prices will go down %5 - %6. We can say the bitcoin affects altcoins %100.

we can see it and observe the movement on the market. we can take examples of some altcoins that might help you. in fact, bitcoin has an influence on the price of altcoins on the market. Therefore, now the growth of bitcoin is very important to make the market grow again.

No thats that not true . based on what ive notice when btc rise , altcoin also rises but not too much . same as when btc falls but there were also times that altcoin and btc are going independent or they are moving on their own way . Until now i dont really know the reason on why it is happening because what i know is that btc value is based on usd or any other local currencies and we also used fiats when we buy btc but in the case of eth , we only use btc and the value of eth is also measured in btc

The financial market generally is very sensitive to especially news. The cryptocurrency market is not an exception to the vulnerabilities of the financial market after all. What this means is that the news of a sluggish Bitcoin will definitely impact the altcoins and that, negatively for that matter.

Therefore, their connection is the most obvious.

When I first entered the crypto world, seeing this Bitcoin selling value was very high. And I tried to trade and as a result, I got a profit and I also suffered losses. But I can see now that all Altcoin are connected to Bitcoin. When Bitcoin red slowly all coins also experience price declines.

Yes, the price of bitcoin greatly affects the prices of altcoins. In the end, I think that most investors are trying to accumulate Bitcoin (and this is justified), and make basic transactions with altcoins, for good earnings. As for the BTC/ETH ratio, in most cases the price of the eth as well as the price of other altcoins depends on the state of Bitcoin.
