It's all rather unknown, but I guess that's what makes it fun. It hasn't occurred to me that sending out a 100 coins is actually quite a lot considering there are only 500,000 total coins ever, but I guess that's what makes it interesting.

Enough people can afford to pay in bounties for services if they want the coin to flourish. I hope the dev sets up some bounties with his premine rather than giving all of it away. Anything that can help towards coin distribution will further help the survival of the coin.

It could be worth a fortune, or it could be worth nothing. Right now I'm treating it as a social experiment. I want to see if coin holders can find the ultimate balance between holding enough coins to be rewarded for their effort, but give away enough to ensure coin survival. This coin will live or die by those who give it to others. It'll be interesting to see if enough coins will be given away for this to happen, or if too many greedy hoarders kill the coin dead.

It really does make no sense to hoard. You just increase the chance the coin won't make it.

Yeah, a lot of people don't understand altcoin economics. I've had a personal hand in increasing some altcoins' value just by promoting it, so I know that individuals can make a difference, both positively and negatively.

I wish there was a way to give out coins proportional to the amount of honesty and effort certain members have, as those who will promote and share the coin deserve more. I will keep giving away the coin in the hopes it helps this coin, but there needs to be enough of us doing this to make a difference. The hoarders are the threat here.

Yes, I concur on this idea. Wish there was a way to keep track of such data. Would help tremendously in people learning about the economics of altcoins and actually develop the community of their choice of coins, instead of having 30,000 iterations of altcoins, most of them being pumped then dumped.
