I dont understand premine coin, how is it fair that all the coins are given away all at once to a certain amount of people? Its like basically getting free money. At the current price of .42 some of you who got free coins at the start have already made $1000s of dollars. Isnt this just a pump and dump?

The giveaway was open to anyone, and lasted weeks. You could have jumped in at anytime, fairest launch of any coin if you ask me.
what do you mean by isn't this pump and dump?

For many weeks now I have been pondering how to get coins to the most possible people in a fair manner.  And frankly, I don't have a good answer.  I came across Premine today.  Is the way they did it with Premine in this thread perfect?  Far from it, but they're doing the best they can.  This is why quite a few pages back I was extolling the importance of continuing to give away coins to those that want to join the community.  It's hard to let go of our greedy tendencies and feeling of not having enough, but in the end, it's what is best.

Point being, want a few PMC?  If so, post your address.

No coin can be fair in that sense. Early adopters got the most during initial distribution, and from my own contributions I feel like I've earnt those coins. No different than early miners or early investors.

I haven't made a cent from PMC because I haven't sold any.

It's no less fair than someone having more hashpower than you, or more BTC to buy coins than you. It is inherently unfair but money always is. That's the very nature of Capitalism and unfortunately life.

However, PM me your PMC address and I'll send over a few PMC. I can't afford to send many but if you hold on to them maybe you'll make a nice profit.

No, this is not a pump and dump. You're confusing terminologies. PMC is distributed. What people do with their coins is their business.

PMC can be mined and bought too. It's in many hands now.

The community of PMC created its value. If all the people who have received the coin just dumped it after day 1 or 1 person hoarded most of it, then the value of PMC would had gone 0.

Just post your address below, we are generous.

I have never sold any coins too. I have given them away.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

You can get it from mining (and mining is great) in the form of transaction fees.  In my opinion, that is the single most important and unique aspect of this coin.  Is it a proof of concept of what will eventually happen to ALL deflationary coins, including Bitcoin.  And that is once all the coins are mined, the network will rely on transaction fees to keep the miners happy and mining.  This coin is a proof of concept that can work.

Will you be raking in coin mining right now?  No.  But if/when the value rises and more transactions happen, the theory is that mining will be profitable.  At least that is what pretty much every deflationary coin is hoping.

Nobody knows how high it is going to go.  In theory, it could crash and burn tomorrow although I doubt it.  It is a very rare coin (only 500,000) and yet very cheap still.  If people are generous and spread small amounts of coin to a TON of different people so TONS of people have a stake in Premine's success, then I think it can go VERY high.  If everyone remains greedy and doesn't share, I don't think it'll do a whole lot.

I'm doing my part and as you can see, so are others Smiley  This is a good community of people.

Given the amount of volume that was moved today, im curious how miners made out? =)
