Temporary issues with DNS System V2

We're experiencing a DDoS attack on our DNS system at the moment - this means that any domains that are using DNS v2 or FreeDNS nameservers may experience intermittent availability issues.
We are currently in the process of mitigating the attack and are working hard to ensure a quick resolution. Please refer to our status blog for updates. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Ok. No problem. Hope I'll get my PMC  Undecided

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Here is my meme, hopefully a little more classy Smiley

I'm up for the pool bet! Who wants to operate it? Nullu?  Cool

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

How many people were part of the initial distribution.  I read some information on the Premine forum that would have the number between 50-100 people.  Is that correct?

No, far more than that. . Although I am not sure of the actual number, it is many times more than 50-100 - distribution lasted for weeks.

Yeah I was basing this off the write-up on your forum where you mentioned initial distribution of 5,000 -10,000 coins.  With 500,000 coins that would be 50-100 people.  I did read that the distribution tapered off later in the post, but was curious of an approximate number.  Thanks.

I think if you can emphasise PMC's rarity, while also explaining how it is essentially "Bitcoin of the future" by its more limited supply and being only mineable by transaction fees (this concept you would have to explain first) then I think you'll draw in a lot of interest from listeners.

At the same time, PMC is a currency in its own right, and so it's important to highlight that its rarity also means a single coin has a potential to store a great amount of wealth, making it very portable. That, and the fact that the coin is anti-inflationary really needs to be driven home; a drop in difficulty won't cause hyper inflation due to a flooding of additional coins on the market; the mining rewards are directly linked to the amount of user transactions, so Premine is a coin with mining rewards that accurately reflects the coin's market activity.

 Smiley

Seriously, I could spend hours talking about the concept of PMC.   Cheesy
