Being fluent in English is no longer a privilige, but rather a necessity. My personal experience was learning a language that is not so common (Norwegian). It has some pros and cons. I think Chinese has a great potential if you dont mind the challange.
Maybe in the future the world economy will shift to Asia, especially East Asia and Southeast Asia, so you want to follow the flow of future business. The potential that is most likely to be used is Chinese, Indonesian or Indian languages, maybe that language will often be used in world trade. in the future.

right. China is the mecca of the world economy. China is a giant economic country, where many industries are in China. this is evidenced by our daily needs, most of which are made by china, so that it opens up opportunities to learn Chinese language to do business with them

China is really a fast growing country both economically and scientifically. Therefore, it is useful to learn this language. In addition to Chinese, knowing the English will be of greater benefit.

I don't think German and french are business-friendly. I've never heard one of their big companies open to other markets so don't list them on the languages that you want to learn. Chinese language are worth it because they are business-minded people and the best example that they are good in business is the Alibaba.

I myself am interested in learning Japanese and Chinese because in my opinion if I can master the two languages well, of course, I can support my economy in the field of crypto and real business because in both countries it has very good potential to improve our economy.

Please go for Chinese. China is an emerging economies and is also likely that China topple the USA in both economy and political power in the nearest future. Your knowledge of Chinese would be invaluable.

in my opinion the language we have to learn after English is Chinese. because the Chinese language is one of the most used languages. and the Chinese language is not only used in one country but in many countries such as Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. then many items are made in China so if we understand the Chinese language. then we will easily learn the item. and by learning Chinese, we can add friends. so learning Chinese is a good thing.

If you are somewhere from the western countries, than learning an asian language can be a very good idea. I personally learned English, german, spanish, would be nice to know some asian language too, but do not feel the strength, that I can do it, seems to be very difficult to me with these different characters, but very useful indeed.

I think learning English is more important, because on this topic everyone also uses English, if we can't use English properly, we will be considered spam.
similar to me, I am currently learning English and practicing it in this forum by doing some posts as my assignment in crypto.

I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come

So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
I don’t know about the other language you mentioned, and I have never heard about it before. The other two languages (Chinese and Japanese) are the ones I know about and I will recommend that you learn Chinese, cause it’s going to be more helpful, you can even get a job with it. There are lots of companies that needs people that can transcript from English to Chinese.

Ill think must better to learn a different language so that we can understand to those people that have different language. And also if we encountered maybe a chinese if we know of their language we can communicate of them as well. Actually in this world our international language we almost use was English ill think it was better also.

Indeed, Chinese is actually more useful when its popularity is very high and that can help us have more space to grow, getting a good job is an easy thing, many people have rated learning Chinese as easier than Japanese. However, I also would not underestimate Japanese, after we finish learning Chinese, we can continue to learn Japanese, one advantage for us is that Japanese has a lot of similarities to Chinese, so we will learn it very quickly

indeed learning English may be good, but because China is a big industrial country and we will cooperate with it, the Chinese language will be more complete, because not all Chinese are fluent in English

It should be chinese because other country people like Japan are good in English langage so you can survive it without learning their original language but in China most of the learning are only allowed in their mother tongue only so they may not good in english if they are from their native country.

China is now the second economy in the world. Moreover, in contrast to Japan, China shows stable GDP growth at the level of 6-7% per year. I think that it’s more promising to learn Chinese right now. Moreover, China is actively pursuing its economic expansion throughout the world. People who know chinese will have much more prospects in the future. However, it should be noted that many companies are developing portable versions of translators used by AI.
