I don't think you should omit the breaking point of BTC dominance in march 2017 (when the ETF got rejected) Because that's what set up the market.



You can see how BTC dominance broke the bear trendline of dominance in August. But alts haven't broke support so my believe is that:

1. BTC dominance falls because of alts correcting. Possibly BTC falls to 5,000. So alt correction wouldn't be due to dollar value correction, but to BTC value correction.

yeap, bitcoin dominance now are 57.9%   the biggest dominance level of btc this year   last time it was so big on decemeber, but there btc was 15-20K usd and market cap also was huge, and now its also like a year ago, i dont know when this falling ends and where is the bottom

Big support level is around 0.024 BTC but some traders are predicting it could fall below $100. I don't think we will see this under$150 I hope soon this trend will be over and we will see good recovery in coming days it has good chance for it.

Let's hope so, this free falling of ETH is scary.

Why would they do that? An erc20 token is just a smart contract, you're saying that when someone deploys a smart contract, an ETH's amount must be burned. And whose ETH? Smart contract's deployer's ETH? No way

Why would they do that? An erc20 token is just a smart contract, you're saying that when someone deploys a smart contract, an ETH's amount must be burned. And whose ETH? Smart contract's deployer's ETH? No way

BTW that is not a practical solution to provide any stability to ETH so that I also agreed with you if there will be this kind of solution surely it will make this terrible platform. This is impossible to choose this way to destroy all ETH who raised through any smart contract.

Lucky for you, I traded my btc to eth when it was $200 but still I feel like I am rewarded in holding some ETH because once BTC recovers or pumps just like last year chances are it will go back to $1.2k.

They showed improvements in coinmarketcap around 4.5%, not much indeed but it looks like this is the end of a downtrend and I hope all the prices will soon improve.

I think so too. It will drop below $100 in a month or two or thereabout.

How do you estimate the $100 figure ?  

Looking at the technical chart of Ethereum, I see it just recently broke the medium technical support level of $225-$200. That was a VERY bearish technical move, showing ETH will possibly test the next support level.
The rate of the price drop and the fact that there is VERY LITTLE TECHNICAL SUPPORT, tells me ETH will drop below $100 in a month or two, maybe even sooner as holders get more and more willing to sell at ever lower prices.

Some holders are in denial and will provide fuel for the next leg down once they realise the price drop wont stop before they are practically wiped out.

lol wtf is "technical chart", "technical support level", "technical move", and "technical support"? Because technically, I don't think your use of 'technical' was needed in every technical sentence.

Has Vitalik's comment actually detracted from any improvement in ETH? Either way, I think ETH will reach its apex in the next alseason! Although it'll require more real applications indeed, because the smart contracts fact is no longer new! Historically speaking this situation is always a great opportunity to buy, as there is much chance of doubling or tripling your investments in the medium term.

Few days it was $295 and now less $100 is a good buy but if you think that's still expensive then wait for more dips. But seriously, I think that this can be considered as one of the cheapest rate now for ETH. If ever its about to rise soon, then you're one lucky guy to have it at $180.

The market situation is still not very clear.Maybe it’s the lowest price now, maybe it’s still going to fall.We can't predict.I still wait a while to buy it back.

Who knows if that fall isn't the final one?

It's up by $190 now so if you ever bought at $164 or a bit higher than that but lower than the current price then you can now take profits if you wish. But my question is if you ever bought during those times? you seem to wait a while before buying back? I'm sure there are folks here that bought with those times.
