yes, the biggest financial world crisis has just started, who will survive it, will make enormous profits by 2020/21
Weak hands are desperately selling the remnants of cryptocurrency, but I seriously worry about what will happen if the miners stop their equipment, and this can happen - they will not work at a loss. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Go look on ebay, many are doing just that. Last year you couldn't find a 1060 for under $300, now they are $150. Mining rigs that would have cost $4000 are going for $1500. Yeah I'd say many miners, at least the small operations, are bailing. |

It feels like an end, more than the beginning. Everytime i look is a new low. 153$...
yes its is new low of this year. eth price is under 150$ now and i have no idea what is going on or what will be the next price of eth? i could be go more low the low price of eth impect on all other eth based tokens now every thing in down. my portfolio is giving my an heart attack when i saw that right now i hope this will be temporary and its give us a chance to buy more eth tokens cheap These are hard times for the crypto community, everyone is in confusion as to where the market is taking us, 2018 has been very rough on crypto and i doubt if it can recover before year end, too many shit happening above with the big players, messing things up for the rest of the community, i guess decentralization is not such a good thing because some people will take advantage. I am still hoping that BTC and ETH will rise but there is no chance yet because price of largest cryptocurrencies constantly dropping except XRP. we have no option but we can HOLD, hope so positive news will arrive soon then price will rise. Everywhere FUD!  |

No one knows what is going to happen next as nothing is clear just complete darkness everywhere. There are two sides like always one is showing positiveness by saying current situation is temporary is will be over soon. Other side is predicting long bearish ahead and expecting more capitulation but reality is somewhere in the middle. I do believe this is profitable market and institutional investors wiuldn't want to kill it. They will manipulate because letting new people rich they wouldn't want to see. It is real test now who stays in the game and who is thrown out.

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

I'm reading all your reasons and excuses and you're all so wrong. At the end of it all it comes down to usability and does something have a need or a worthwhile purpose. Ethereum is a giant ponzi that makes more ponzi's and that was really it's only purpose. 99% of those were scams and the other 1% under performed, so a 99% correction is due.

This is a crazy year for Ethereum, Last year January Ethereum was $10 and with the look of things it seems Ethereum is heading for less than $100. I just pity this ICO projects that solely and blindly hold Ethereum in this bear market , especially those that raise fund when it was @ ATH.

The peak is indeed true that at the end of this year everything will drop dramatically, it is not impossible if all miners will go bankrupt and sell all their mining tools. |

Pity? Are you sure? Most of those ICOs have failed to deliver anything at all; IMO, they deserve to get their total balance slashed by a big percentage. |

It looks like someone presses reset button and all markets one by one started to have new start. A new beginning from new base prices is under play where people will be tested and new ones have chance to get on using second chance. When something can't lift up they simply put in down to get their targets. This is actually happening everywhere in traditional as well as digital markets these days.
