Having someone like Musk making positive vibes about ETH or any other crypto will not necessarily make an impact.

What happened yesterday hardly had any effect on the ETH price.

He only wrote Ethereum that did not hint at anything so it does not have an impact on prices on the exchange

His statements in future will probably not have any impact on ETH or crypto prices in general.

Not only his statement due to the situation of the market the price of ETH went very low in the market when ETH went around 90$ many people are more panic because ETH price will go below 50$ but it has not happened. So in this crypto market, anything can happen so we have to according to the market situation.

With the ride of Bitcoin, Ethereum has gradually fallen below 0.029 BTC, so if thing keeps going this way, I wish I will be able to buy Ethereum much cheaper. My waiting price is around 0.024 or 0.025. it is too low price, but I will wait there and hope that luck will come to me and my waiting but orders. Sometimes, we need luck to see our orders filled up. If the coin won't fall to those price points, I am ready to buy higher.

Although it's looking possible there is more high chance to touch this level if BTC will keep moving with current trend where all other markets are loosing very quickly. I think current price is very attractive to buy because nobody can predict the future.

Yeah indeed token sale on binance pumping the price of BNB but they are introducing only real projects on their exchange.

From what I remember of the Binance ICO it was stated that the tokens would be burned after 3 years. Waat has since changed?

Right now I have no hesitation in saying I would prefer to use Ethereum contracts over Binance contracts.

ETH does everything any business would need it to do. If the only selling point BNB has is lightening fast transations then that is not enough to sway many people.

XRP has historical volume behind it. It will be a successful coin for years to come but BNB is a relative baby in terms of longevity.

The key points here are: When we want to compare two coins we have to compare them in two criteria at least:
- One, their price, of course. Most people compared two assets like this, but it is not enough.
- Two, their ecosystem: By mention about ecosystem, I meant how widely use cases two assets been used in real life so far. In addition, how big their ecosystem are (in ecosystem's market values).
Combination of two criteria will help us have clearer and more exact comparisons between two assets (whatever assests you want to compare).
People often forget the second indicator, ecosytem market value, that is very important, but they missed it all.
When applying the combination of two criteria: Ethereum will definitely maintain its second position in crypto.

BNB has actually never witnessed a bear trend in its lifetime till now, it'll be interesting to see how low it goes once the massive sell off begins. I'm expecting it to happen soon, and it should make it clear for everybody that it is not a competitor to ETH.

Ethereum price, Ethereum market cap can be surpassed by others (even it is not easily), but Ethereum ecosystem market cap will stay strongly at the second position in crypto for too long. Binance came from nowhere in 2017 and had an ICO (Ethereum contract) and went on to become the market leader in crypto exchanges.

Maybe a start-up exchange with innovative ideas will be able to break in to the smart contract field and have a wider bigger ecosystem than Ethereum in a short space of time. I have seen that in crypto world too many things however unlikely to happen still can happen.

I don't know if anything else is going to surpass ethereum marketcap but I believe that ethereum is going to be always in the top 10 if they continue to improve the network. The technology in this space is always evolving and ethereum needs to keep up the pace to not be left behind. Always in the top 5 is what I believe. Invest in people and not the technology is the advice of wise tech angel investors. And the growing population of Ethereum developers is the strongest indicator that you made a sound investment in spite of the roller coaster market price.

If someday Ethereum drops to below the second position and just stay in top 10 on coinmarketcap, such as at the 5th, 8th or 10th position, it means the Ethereum project has been surpassed and somehow outdated network. If it happens, dropping further in lower position in top ten, Ethereum will definitely fall further behind other projects. Nevertheless, I don't see anything supports such terrible position lose like this from Ethereum project. Their team are very productive, energetic, and creative, they always keep developing, upgrading their network and their ecosystem. Together, I see solid reasons that Ethereum will still be a second largest in crypto for coming years.
