Phase 0 will help ETH to keep investors more interested in buying ETH, because of the PoS feature as a sharding (sidechain) of ETH It seems that sidechain are the new way to handle big amount of tx. Hopefully, these new updates won't take any longer as the project did in the past already.
I know phase 0 is a turning point for ETH because, in that phase, the beacon chain will be activated. But the question is when? They kept delaying it and giving us an ambiguous answer, last year they said it could be at the end of the year and then they changed it into Q1 2020. But their latest news said this year, it takes longer than what we expected. Is not it? I would not be surprised to hear they will activate it next year considering the market and other stuff. |

i am trying to sell some ETH at $1000 but now $500, how come nobody is buying it?!?!  I am sure if you will sell eth next year you will get much more than 500 dollars , keep all your ethereum and you will make a great profit next year!  Yes, after yesterday it had decreased by $230 per eth, now it has begun to improve. I think the end of March will touch $300 first. It could be possibile , eth is the biggest coin used , i would not be surprise if we tuch the new hight price in 2021 or end of 2020, depends on btc price too, |

More precisely, ETH is the second biggest cryptocurrency, just behind Bitcoin. There is a drawback of being a big cryptocurrency (in terms of usages or liquidity) because to help price moving up, the market need very strong momentum. It is what ETH and XRP have been lack of for recent months. If you observe their price activities closely, you will easily find out the fact that whenever their prices increasing 3 to 5 percent, their prices were corrected. It is so barely to see these coins rising more than 10% recent months. In the current altcoin season, there are many coins that have waves of 20, 30, 50 or 60 percent of rises, but ETH and XRP have not yet had such exponential growths. So I hope both ETH and XRP will have such growths next weeks. |

[/quote] Both XRP and ETH are big projects that in the no distant future will grow and brings new investors and supporters in general for these 2 projects. Anything these projects are doing now it will support them with the mass adoption they are looking for in the future. Hopefully, ETH2.0 Can see the light at the end of this year. |

Hopefully, these new updates won't take any longer as the project did in the past already. It will come and maximum time should be next year as already stated by some ethereum core developers. I think the implementation of the sharding will be much more easy when it will be going to the sidechain. People need to migrate into the new chain. This time testnet of beacon chain already exist and that gives an example about how ethereum POS works. |

I'm trying to load Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-11-1 on windows 10 but i only have a blank box. The same situation is on both computers. I did the delete and reinstall, but it doesn't help. I also installed geth-windows-amd64-1.8.23-c9427004. Does anyone know what's at stake? I have a few ETHs and can't use them now.  |

Use other cryptocurrency wallets, for example: mycrypto, metamask & mew. I have been using mycrypto wallet for a long time. Look for more information here https://ethereum.org/wallets/The old wallet is no longer supported by developers, if I remember correctly. |

You are wrong, Ethereum price has been growing since the year began even better than BTC. In fact, it has been leading most major altcoins. Just try to check out the data on coingecko for the price growth in the last 90 days for those top coins |

Certainly does not look good for ETH going by that graph. Trouble really could be on the horizon. What is going on behind the scenes at Ethereum? They have delayed their updates roll out and things are not looking good on many fronts. Ethereum longs hit a new all-time high at Bitfinex:

People need to migrate into the new chain. Hopefully, that migration won't be that complicated, imagine for those holding many different tokens under ETH, and then if at the same time they have similar deadlines in order to migrate not just one but many of their tokens. the best way would be that ETH developers think ahead of this issue and give plenty of time to holders with many different tokens under ETH network. |

If they decide to make a full migration into PoS as Vitalik proposed a few months ago, I think it will not be that complicated. On the other hand, it will be complicated and hard to do if they decide to implement the parallel consensus as they planned many years ago. Quite vague I suppose because we do not know what will they choose. About the migration time, surely they will give us a plenty of time because they know it can not be done in a single month. |
