Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta Goes Live ; Ethereum’s Buterin Sends First Transaction Polygon, an Ethereum scaling platform, released its zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) beta to the public Monday, the latest launch in what is expected to be one of 2023’s hottest blockchain trends. Polygon also said that it is making all aspects of its zkEVM open source, so developers are able to study and share the code, allowing them to contribute to more innovations in the zero-knowledge space.

https://blog.ethereum.org/2023/03/28/shapella-mainnet-announcementMainnet Shapella Announcement Posted by Protocol Support Team on March 28, 2023 Withdrawals are coming! The Shapella network upgrade will activate on the Ethereum network at epoch 194048, scheduled for 22:27:35 UTC on Apr. 12, 2023 Stakers & node operators should read this post as well as the Withdrawals FAQ From now until April 5th, the Ethereum Bug Bounty rewards have been doubled for Shapella vulnerabilities You can now sign up to receive emails for these upgrade announcements. Scroll to the bottom of the page to do so 📩 ___ My scenario, altcoins are a small increase of 30-70% before the fork, then the price falls.

Hey eth coiners, is there any bounty reward for keccak256 collisions? If there is please let me know so I can get to work on it, need money.🤑
Edit: after reading the bug bounty page, I live in a sanctioned country and can't receive any reward, so fuck you eth foundation. Vitalik and all of your centralized network of scam contracts.🙃

The Ethereum Shanghai hard fork, set to occur on April 12, will implement Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP)-4895 — allowing validators and stakers to withdraw staked ETH from the Beacon Chain — in addition to other EIPs, aiming to help increase transaction speeds while reducing transaction costs. Shanghai refers to the fork on the execution layer client side, and Capella is the upgrade name on the consensus layer client side that is set to be executed shortly after Shanghai on April 12. The execution layer is where all the smart contracts and protocol rules are, while the consensus layer ensures that all network validators follow these rules. https://cointelegraph.com/news/eth-hits-7-month-high-ahead-of-shanghai-and-capella-upgrades

1 day, 11 hours until Shanghai. So many possible outcomes. Bearish most likely since released supply can only really go one direction but maybe some of it already priced in from the overall drop the past month+? Coming soon.

Those are the figures he calculated but the reality is the loss could be much worse than that. If you apply the same principle to all crypto (including Bitcoin) then the figures in USD$ would reach astronomical levels.

I might be able to work something out, but first I need to make sure that I'm not going after cold wallets of other people, however after finding these lost coins I will share a percentage of the prize which hopefully the owners of those coins will give me, with anyone sharing intel on lost coins.

The Ethereum blockchain is set to undergo its next major update since the network switched from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake through The Merge. The upcoming upgrade, dubbed “Shapella,” which combines the Shanghai and Capella validator changes, is expected to take place on April 12, 2023. While most users will not be affected by the change, the hard fork aims to enable staking validators to withdraw their staked ethereum. Shapella Network Upgrade to Activate on the Ethereum Network at Epoch 194048 https://news.bitcoin.com/ethereums-shapella-upgrade-to-enable-staking-withdrawals-set-to-go-live-on-april-12/

https://decrypt.co/125731/staked-ethereum-withdrawals-could-take-weeks-after-shanghai-upgrade-analyst"The upgrades are hotly anticipated by users who staked ETH in the network—either as individual validators or through platforms like Lido Finance and Rocket Pool—as they will soon be able to withdraw their assets and accumulated rewards. But Ethereum users may not be able to withdraw their funds immediately, or all at once. According to Andrew Thurman, a data analyst at Nansen, the length of the withdrawal queue could result in users having to wait several weeks to withdraw their funds." “When you look at the fundamentals,” Thurman told Decrypt, “whatever the impact of withdrawals going live is, it's going to play out over a period of weeks and not days.” https://wenmerge.com

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/04/12/ethereums-shanghai-upgrade-only-a-small-step-forward-bank-of-america/"The blockchain’s likely inability to increase throughput in the short term and increasing competition from alternative networks will constrain its adoption and usage, the report said. Bank of America sees Ethereum upgrades as “significant technological accomplishments, but not necessarily more significant or advanced than those implemented by next-generation blockchains that have emerged as viable alternatives.” The bank says Ethereum’s likely inability to increase throughput in the short term and increasing competition from alternative blockchains will constrain its adoption and usage. Ethereum’s “long-term viability” is dependent on the execution of its development road map, the report said. This includes the implementation of a sharding approach called Danksharding, which aims to reduce the costs of transactions originating on scaling solutions and cut the processing and storage requirements for validators."

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-researcher-says-staking-reveals-ip-address-sparking-privacy-concernsA researcher at the Ethereum Foundation has revealed that the IP addresses of Ether stakers are monitored as part of a broader set of metadata, causing the cryptocurrency community to flag Ethereum for privacy concerns. In an April 12 interview on the crypto podcast Bankless, EF researcher Justin Drake revealed that he learned this information “internally” — presumably, at the foundation. The metadata Drake referred to is used to track a wide range of things, he explained: “There’s a lot of metadata, you can look at deposit addresses, you can look at withdrawal addresses, you can look at fee recipients, you can look at IP addresses.”

Experts say that if the validator does not use relays, then it is safe. But the IP can be found in another way, so if you want to be a validator, then you need to know about it. https://beaconcha.in/relaysI recommend an interesting post Gary, tell us what is Ethereum? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5449596

Bitcoin is a very stable/predictable/simple technology (for now) that people can count on. Ethereum has taken very innovative pathways and migrated onto POS. I think the two very different paths creates more robustness for cryptocurrency as a whole ecosystem. If for some reason, Bitcoin or Ethereum get totally wrecked off in the future for some reason, at least the other one still exists. And if you don't like either one, idk, don't buy it? Or short it if you really feel so compelled?

https://etherscan.io/address/0x825309a7d45d1812f51e6e8df5a7b96f6c908887One of the Ethereum ICO participants woke up. Almost 8 years ago, he bought these coins for 31 cents. Great investment that cost less than $1,000. This is how you can become a millionaire in 8 years for an investment of less than $1,000. Perhaps he forgot about it, and only recently remembered.

I propose another fork of Ethereum called "Cyberbuck". Maybe it can be both PoW and PoS idk. I created the symbol to go with it already. You can check it out at this link https://ibb.co/vPpfjcnThe PoW fork isn't performing and the Ethereum pos fees are stupid. I'm also tired of Bitcoin controlling the way every crypto blows.

Ether whale population drops after Shapella — Will ETH price sink too?Ether's supply across whale addresses has dropped consistently since March 2020, offset by greater retail interest. The share of Ether held by so-called whale addresses has dropped since Ethereum's Shapella upgrade in mid April, suggesting that large investors may be leaning bearish in the near term. ETH whale population shrinks post-ShapellaThe amount of Ether held by addresses with 1,000-10,000 ETH, or "whales," was over 14.033 million ETH on May 1, according to Glassnode data. In comparison, the count was 14.167 million ETH on April 12, when Shapella went live on Ethereum https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-whale-population-drops-after-shapella-will-eth-price-sink-too
