[ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning

I would like to mine eth using my work laptop and set it up to be undetected. I have had ethminer set to run as a task and seem to work however I thought that I can put ethminer.exe on the sd card and run it with only the dag full residing on the laptop. Any better ideas

wouldnt be mining on a laptop, they cant disperse the heat very well.

Not the answer I was looking for however my i7 laptop can disperse the heat very well. One known disadvantage it takes awhile to mine 1 eth coin plus my company forgot  a dedicated card for Acad (to be added later). Currently Intel 4600 does okay.

I do take the laptop home everyday so at work or home if I can just mine for an hour with the sdcard holding all the programs except the dag then that would be great. I know with an altcoin I would just need to add a different -datadir statement. Would Ethminer be similar and how?

Install linux on a stick and run the miner 100% from the USB drive. Solves all those pesky issues.

How many total ETH to be made?  currently 80.347 million with annual increase of 11.315 million?  I understand they are planning a switch to POS at some point, but that is alot of new ATH to come onto market in short period.

With the PoW mining, the annual increase is about 18 million. I hope the PoW can last 5 to 10 years.

Plutus.it just announced that ETH will be made available as a form of payment at any store or merchant using a NFC payment terminal.

We made sure to listen to the vast amounts feedback from our community. As a result, we are developing a DAO proposal and updates which include adding eth (Ξthereum) as a full-fledged payment method to Plutus Tap & Pay.
I also have to address previous misconceptions about the external usage limitations of Plutons. The situation is actually more favorable than some suppose:
Participants from the crowdsale can trade their tokens on the DEX or send them to friends within the app.
Participants who receive tokens via rebate, from a friend or via the DEX can trade elsewhere - anywhere they want.
Because Plutus interacts with the heavily regulated traditional payments industry, these restriction for crowdsale wallets would be required to comply with certain guidelines. This means, wallets that receive Plutons from the sale have to be moved within the system first before they can be used externally.
However, as I mentioned before - we are developing several improvements, which include the Plutus DAO proposal and ETH as a payment option on the Plutus app. This will also remove the restrictions mentioned above.

DEX will be their exchange? Can we trade plutons for eth or btc on the DEX? or only fiat?
