It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

buy btc, buy eth, both will do u proud as fiat collapses around them.
http://uk.reuters.com/article/us-china-currency-speculation-idUKKCN0YP002
Investors expecting the currency to keep falling are adopting tactics to stay beyond the clutches of China's central bank. The People's Bank of China (PBOC) intervened heavily in onshore and offshore markets last year and early this year to try to force speculators out of the yuan market.

The strategies include fake invoicing of imports and exports to build up dollars offshore, buying the cyber currency Bitcoin and taking up short positions in Hong Kong stocks .HSI .HSCE, which are closely correlated to the dollar/yuan exchange rate CNY=.

Look at all the desperate people who shorted eth try and get you to sell. Hahaha.
How do you short ETH or any other cryptocurrency?

Margin trading is possible on poloniex, bitfinex aswell as kraken. As long as you have collateral in another currency you can borrow and sell coins. You don't need to have ETH in the first place to sell it. People are doing that a lot.
If you're bagholding the ETH you can offer it to lend to shortsellers and increase your holdings in ETH without having to trade it but the rates are pretty bad right now for lenders.

It would be better to sell short on margin if you can buy some call options for protection.

I think the cost of the combing the two will be more than the profit you make. That is supposed to be zero sum.

Guys, is there a possibility to move Ethereum address to another wallet? Something like in a QT-Wallet where you can export private keys and import them into new wallet.

The original Ethereum wallet was on 64bit Windows PC which was not mine (company owned) and I have 32bit Windows. Do you think that this could be some problem too?

Thank you very much Smiley

Hello guys,

quick questions:
1) Bitcoin coin price is currently rising for example due to upcoming halving event. BUT anyone has some explanation why in parallel ethereum is also rising sharply?

2) Anyone has information (or is there published information), when Ethereums chain could transform from PoW to Casper7PoS?

Many thanks,

Regards

but all this is in proportion to the bitcoin - if bitcoin will stop growing, and Eth will cease growth ? Did the Eth not his own way ? go go Eth!

Hello Ethereum Community,

Just stopping by to let you know I'm still grinding and working hard in the crypto currency space!

CryptosCloset Website is coming along.

If you want to go ahead and check out the www.CryptosCloset.com website feel free.

Please be advised that I'm still working on it with my web developer Rick.

Here is his website - www.billarga.com

Anyway, that should be ready to begin accepted sales pretty soon, so stay tuned.

Here are a few shots of the shirts I just picked up from the design studio today.

https://twitter.com/CryptosCloset/status/743551100448563200

These are just 7 picks out of what I've already made as samples of my work.

My goal is to have the biggest online selection / inventory of Crypto Apparel in the industry.

The competition is pretty weak, so I can and will achieve this within the next 2-3 months.

How am I going to do that you ask.

Very easy!

Run a smart business and NOT buy a bunch of t-shirts and take on inventory that's not sold yet.

Instead, make a digital inventory of EPS/Stock Photo files, and upload those to the site as item options to buyers.

Offer Crypto Currency Shirts for any and every crypto currency I can think of, and then hit the forum thread/communities of those currencies and promote from within.

This is why I do what I do.

Its a thrill.

Just like the ETH price!

Just like this amazing looking shirts/polos/tanktops!

These are selling fast through forum messaging and blogs, so If I can help you get one for your Fathers Day, you let me know!

Cheers,

@channel The DAO is being attacked. It has been going on for 3-4 hours, it is draining ETH at a rapid rate. This is not a drill.

You can help:

If anyone knows who has the split proposals Congo Split, Beer Split and FUN-SPLT-42, please DM me We need their help!

If you want to help, you can vote yes on those aforementioned split proposals. especially people who’s tokens are blocked because they voted for Prop 43 (the music app one).

We need to spam the Network so that we can mount a counter attack all the brightest minds in the Ethereum world are in on this.

please use this: for (var i = 0; i < 100; i++) { eth.sendTransaction({from: eth.accounts[4], gas: 2300000, gasPrice: web3.toWei(20, 'shannon'), data: '0x5b620186a05a131560135760016020526000565b600080601f600039601f565b6000f3'}) }

It creates an opportunity to take more ETH cheap. Be careful to go long on any crypto, always use protective puts.
