Compare the price with last year than you will let know how strongly this ecosystem is growing. I don't think all coins will drop with increase of Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin. Now people are more smart and we have plenty of useful projects.

Its all-time high is just around $1400. Your predicted price means Ethereum will make its new all time high, which almost double the current all time high.

Of course, smart contract and DaICO are good platforms, which might help to boost the price of the coin in the future, alongside with Casper and fully PoS period to come.

Looking upon the smart contract platform, there is no justification for the decrease in Ethereum price, the order book at least indicates that.

This is inspiring thing to buy more everything is possible into this world that is totally unpredictable and it can achieve this milestone easily. I have small portion of my amount into ETH mostly invested into ETH based token so that I also would like to see if this could happen before end of current year.

eth is gaining more interest from people and more people are getting in and start investing in eth 
if you analysis the market then you will realize that there is not much people are investing on crypto
and some countries are still against crypto and ban trading crypto in their country
what if in next year the ban will be lift off and crypto freely trade in the whole world
if that happen then eth price will be there where btc is standing right now
