It's awesome to see Vitalik in action no doubt he is genius person and have practical solution for this ecosystem to bring more innovative features on this blockchain and keep this into high demand.

Exactly, more innovative things will be implemented in this blockchain because we already know how potential the development activity is kept increasing. So we need to have a very good hope on this ecosystem which help to develops more potential projects on this blockchain.

We have a new roadmap that very well explained about the future plan to be implemented on ethereum platform. We have a lot of EIP's not yet implemented but that will happen in the future and we are all hoping for the best from this platform

Legacy Trust group CEO and founder Vincent Chok told CoinDesk:

    “There is huge interest in ERC-20 custody services and it’s only growing bigger. Every STO [security token offering] that is planning to take place will need to have custody for ERC-20 tokens.”

“Since the beginning of 2019, we’ve basically received around five requests for ERC20 custody, per week,” he added.

CEDEX said its mission is to turn diamonds into a tradeable asset class, and it aims to enable customers to trade on its inventory and generate liquidity in the market.

The exchange – which launched in beta in November 2018 – will use tokens to allow customers to trade in diamonds of different sizes and values with “low” carrying cost, according to the announcement.

The platform has its own ERC-20 token too, CEDEX Coin, which CEDEX says on its website is compliant and can be used for trading and investment on the exchange

I also don't understand why people are comparing ETH with other projects. ETH is more established and have very strong support than any other project I think we must stay strong with this side because this is most important coin after Bitcoin.

Currently, both Bitcoin and Ether rely on a proof of work consensus mechanism to validate their respective ledgers.  However, the Ethereum Foundation has announced its plans to shift to a proof of stake consensus mechanism at some point in the future, in part to reduce energy consumption.  The transition from proof of work to proof of stake consensus mechanisms raises important questions for both market participants and regulators, including how the use of either mechanism affects the likelihood that a bad actor could manipulate or falsify the ledger.  These issues are also among the many topics on which the Commission recently sought comment in a Request for Information about the evolution of the cryptocurrency market and potential new virtual currency-based futures and derivatives products.

UMA, a smart contracts platform, is bringing the S&P 500 to the blockchain with the launch of a new ERC20 token that’ll represent ownership in the largest 500 companies in U.S. financial markets, the company announced Wednesday.
UMA, an entity affiliated with Risk Labs, a Two Sigma Ventures-backed firm, also said the new token would trade on Beijing-based decentralized exchange DDEX, to start. MakerDao, the firm behind stable coin Dai, is also involved in the new token, per the release. Investors looking to buy the token are required to purchase it with DAI.

A VC backed startup, Universal Market Access (UMA), has just launched a smart contract with the project stating:

I guess bulls are now accumulating their stocks of ETH and judging from the bullish trend and positive news for the whole crypto markets almost every coin seems a cheap buy right now but of course everyone must take a DYOR first before investing with any coins.
