My LEAF P2Pool node
http://leaf.p2nex.net:9166
is working solo now and should find blocks of right chain.

It is temporary solution for the time while other P2Pool nodes will update.

I'm mining at your pool now  Grin

Can you point me where I can read more about p2pools so I can try to understand it better?  Grin

Why don't you always run solo? It will get bigger payouts right? And of course it will be more difficult to find blocks....

Thanks  Cool

You're welcome! Smiley

There is much info about P2Pool: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

In "solo mode" P2Pool node became a kind of pool, with lower hash-rate there come more variance, but less overhead on connecting with other nodes - so it is worth to try anyway Smiley

Oh... With our hash-rate we will wait a block near 66 hours  Grin
But it is difficult block now (127), so average is faster Smiley

It changes diff very quick in the both ways. Too quick for multipools.

I have mine several block in my CoinMine.PW when difficulty was 18-25 and now it's 150. I have stop mining it. What to do next?
If difficulty becomes 20 again I'll mine it next block and stop mining next block if difficulty becomes low... I don't understand Idea.

I have updated several days ago to protocol version 80006 and don't wait what it will be updated several days later to 80007.
Usually it takes minimum month...
Now you have 3 block chains and almost all pool at wrong chain. Nice.
This mean "The Devs seemed to have done everything possible to inform Exchanges/Pools/Miners"...

May be some one return to me my lost 428 769 LEAFs to fQEBsNnzqwB1UYwAinxPDsUgGxiMqe3ELp ?..

You can add CoinMine.PW to the Pools list. It have right block chain now
It's not only multipool. You can mine only LEAFs if you want.

It was unpleasantly for those who did not update in time, but it maybe was the only possibility to save the coin from totally stuck without miners on high difficulty blocks. Thats why we say that it was done in a very right way and just in time. Some time later - and it might be too late, and then "428 769 LEAFs" could cost nothing.

yep looks to be that way.. 1hr 5 minutes... and nothing.. oh well not in a rush... usually with a support ticket.. i get credited within 30 minutes

its funny if the new system to make a deposit at cryptsy is to send your money and then send them a support ticket informing them about it... if you dont... its theirs..

well it seems to be a support ticket will be needed.. 8 hours 20 minutes and still now showing in pending.
I am curious enough to see what cryptsy will do when it comes to the missing deposit if i don't open a support ticket

Has the LEAF blockchain forked? I have a miner in my pool whose wallet is not showing his deposit. His wallet is synced up, and the blockexplorer @ cryptexplorer.com shows the correct deposit. I can't think of anything else besides a forked blockchain.

Yes, because of update, since block 18818. This is correct chain: http://explorer.leafco.in/chain/LeafCoin
http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/LeafCoin was not yet updated and is on wrong fork.

You can add CoinMine.PW to the Pools list. It have right block chain now
It's not only multipool. You can mine only LEAFs if you want.

ok the fault here is yours.. as there was basically a drive to upgrade to the 3rd wallet.. i also think all the pools had already upgraded their wallet to the right chain as they and the exchanges were the first to be notified. Can you tell me what is your hashrate?

Now in regards to upgrade and why its important.. please read the thread as there have been multiple posts on the subject..
Basically... the difficulty changes every block and within 3-5 blocks matches the current network so even if multipool joins in they will only find about 3-4 blocks before difficulty is to high for them to find it profitable. At that point they will leave the network and instead of us taking 2 days to resolve 240 blocks at a difficulty of 150 or so the network will automatically reduce difficulty every block to match the current network.. so that means if you are waiting for a difficulty of 25-30 its unlikely to happen as we have pretty much established a stable hash rate of around 3 gh/s which means difficulty dropping below 40 is unlikely.

Without update what would have happened was that the multipool takes about 85% of the 240 blocks @difficulty 20-30 in like  40 minutes then difficulty goes to 150-200 and then the community spends 3-4 days trying to find the blocks at the high difficulty at which point we lose network hashrate and still have a high difficulty ... your jumping in at 20-30 and out at 150 wont happen now.. because if difficulty hits 150 and is sustained.. then it means prices have reached that same corresponding level as well. otherwise you would literally have to monitor each and every block to figure out when you were needed to get in and out

by the way as you did not update your wallet in time.. you will need to delete all your blockchain data except your wallet.dat and resync.. otherwise even if you did get the new wallet... it will still read information of the wrong chain..

edit* i might be wrong but as its likely your on wallet is on the wrong blockchain... the above..delete and resync should show your correct balance.. including ur missing LEAF..

unless of course the pool themselves are on the wrong chain.. which is unlikely as those operators were already informed of the same

Hmm, looks like my pool is on the wrong fork. We just updated on Feb 7th! What the fuck!

In order to correct this issue, do I need to redownload the blockchain once I have updated?
