I think for now Altcoin is better than Bitcoin for buying now. Because, Altcoins are already in the very lower price and there is no further decline even the market decline. But, Bitcoin is looking that it has remaining more decline of the price as the price level has already broken the support line of $5000. From my personal opinion, the existing coins like btc, eth, xrp are better and safer to buy because they already have value in the market.
