Hi  , everyone :

If you want use this open beta, I advise you as belows:

1、You must generate a eXo wallet address, the passphrase I suggest 12345678Az_^  , you must remember this pass.

2、If you have a wallet address, you can apply a free 10000 exo by click the 10000 exocoin at OPEN BETA.

Its only a test, so dont worry anything.
Thx

thanks for information you all provided us.
That are the "stats": 10 people were able to generate themselves 10,000.
15 transactions got processed by the network and got stored in the blocks.
Thereafter the system got in troubles and partly drifted away. We shut all VPS down as for now. We are investigating the cause. Expect an update to be there in ~8 hours.
Update will fix "cannot read in wallet file", that you have to restart the client after generating 10,000 EXO and the cause of the drift-away.
We already can tell that the drift-away is linked to an attempt to initiate a transaction that got not properly processed somehow.

Yes, it looks interesting.
If it's a real 2nd generation cryptocoin, it will have a great potential.
I will consider the 2nd round IPO.

@exo_coin:

thanks for your answer.
we obviously have some different opinions concerning the definition of the investement risk as you only think in terms of fiat whereas i prefer to think in terms of btc exclusively like most people in cryptocurrencies do like this guy for example:
Okay, enough with the early-bird vs. second-round "investors".

I am one of the early-birds and don't care if BTC has become 50% less valuable.
Would you also complain if BTC had risen to $1400 and second-stagers had to pay double (in fiat!) for a stake?

Stop being so selfish.

It's a stake in BTC, so stop converting to fiat. BTC = BTC.
Tough luck and shit happens  Wink

nevertheless your answer has made me unterstand your point of view concerning my first question now and thats all i wanted. however you don't really refer to my second questions or at least i can't see it yet. i would be happy if you could make your point clear here in the same matter as for my first question. so once again:
why do you insist on the upper cap for the second stage instead of using the formula
Code:
(1.67 * early bird investment + second stage investment)/(1.67 * all early bird investments + all second stage investments) * 42000000,
which gets rid of the upper cap, but sill yields a 67% advantage for early birds?
i mean the 67% are the upper bound for the advantage for the early birds in case that 230 btc will be reached, but you have also announced that you will correct the distribution for the benefit of the early birds if too few people invest in the second stage. so to ask that questions differently what is supposed to be the advantage of the upper cap of 230 btc?

is the decentralized exchange just a wish, not promise?

quote from whitepaper:

Quote
We cannot guarantee in any way that eXocoin will be a success. You have our words that we will
hand all investments back (100%) if we will not provide a working client that has all core features a
coin (including security) must have plus the main features we would like to add (this does not include
the p2p market place and any other extended features we might add to this paper
).

Does this mean you will not return the investment if you fail to provide p2p market place?

now that you have officially stated the conditions for the second stage of the ipo, let me be the first one to ask critical questions about your proceeding.

note that i am asking this qestions under the asumption that the upper cap of the 230 btc for the second stage will be reached, but as you obviously assume that yourselves according to the follwoing statement my questions have a right to exist.

Is it possible that an early bird adapter gets less EXO for 1 btc then a second-stage adapter [...].
[...] it is very unlikely that this will be really the case. We are expecting an steady increase in attention and investments over the time till launch.

why do you think that an early bird investor deserves a whopping 67% more eXo for his investment compared to a potential investor of the 2nd stage?

even if you consider a 67% advanatage for early birds to be fair, why do you insist on the upper cap for the second stage instead of using the formula
Code:
(1.67 * early bird investment + second stage investment)/(1.67 * all early bird investments + all second stage investments) * 42000000,
which gets rid of the upper cap, but sill yields the same 67% advantage for early birds?

why the advantage of 67%? Though I don't say its a whooping premium to second stage, I just want to know how you arrived at this premium?

Please don't change anything due to whiners. Stick with the original distribution plan as outlined in the first page. People who aren't happy don't have to invest in the second phase.
