beta update is ready! Simply (re)start the client and accept the update dialogue.


Note: If your client crashes right before/after the GUI should come to the screen please delete the chain folder and try again. Going to fix this issue as well soon...

2 - I clicked yes in the update screen
3 - He created the tmp folder and downloaded the files.
4 - Error, he could not move (err_update.txt)

Yeah well there are no errors poping up within the GUI yet so if any error occured it will show up in the CMD as of now.. definatly going to change this in the next days. You'll need an address before clicking the button or an error will show up in the cmd. As for creating the first address: Your password must be complex enough (you must have at least 10 chars, you must have small and capital letter, number and special char). I guess your passphrase was not complex enough. Please try again.

Thanks for reporting the updater output and thanks for manually moving the files (that is perfectly fine, the updater does not do anything additionally). Going to check that. #edit: alright, I guess I know the cause of the error. The exocoin/chain folder was non-existing if you just got a fresh copy. So the updater should create the folder if not existing. I will change that now.
As I can see in the block explorer tab there have been 4 transactions since the update stored in the chain (well there are more but those were generated from us). So it is/should be working at the moment. All server (6) are running and are synced right now. [ok the 6th server is somewhat special so it is ok if your client only shows up 5 connections at the moment].

thanks again for reporting that. Just fixed that and uploaded it to the server. I downloaded a fresh copy of the initial version, then accepted the update dialogue and everything got processed properly.

Announcing escrow for stage 2 of EXOCoin. This time the rules and procedures will be somewhat different so read carefully.

In order to make changes to the status of your order such as refunding the bitcoins or releasing to EXO_Coin you must be in PERSONAL possession of at least one of the private keys that you sent from. This is because I will require digital signatures in order to make a change to the status of your order. Sending from a satoshi client will work or from blockchain.info ewallet if you prefer to use an online wallet, do not send direly from an exchange.

The fee will be just the same as last time. 0.01BTC or 0.9% which ever is greater.

I downloaded the beta zip file from the exocoin.org. When I try running the client, I get the warning a new version is available, do you want to update it? Has the link been updated?
