How long will the beta test last?
It seems the present version is buggy.

just go back 1 page  Grin

Roadmap:
- next beta version (and "boot" of network) ETA 5-7 days with block time 5 or 10 minutes [achieved goal for this version: fully working chain sync and no crash, GUI popups on error, working verify signature dialogue]
- website/logo renewal this week
- ETA launch still 30th April without decentral market
- ETA mining 2 weeks after launch
- ETA decentral market: 3 weeks after launch
- release of most parts of the source code: before launch

what are the sorts of reasons why you deny people exo? (if anyone else knows you can answer also)
we check registration date, activity, post count and (if the first 3 are not convincing) quality of post count.
We also tell people that they can only invest less BTC as upper cap since account is not reputative enough.

when the BTC of first stage IPO will release to eXo dev?
Anon said, he will release, when the eXo coins will be distributed on a working system.
On launch day Anon and me are going to exchange BTC<->EXO in smaller batches. ETA for launch is 30th April by the way. Both, first and 2nd stage will be exchanged on that day.

Case 2) That is not true. If you use them together you will get a result in say 2 minutes. If you use them separatly you will get 2 results each in 4 minutes. Both ways you would get the same amount of EXO (again, on average).

Thank you for your reply, but this does not make sense to me. Do you mean

the EXO earned by 1 result(found by two GPU in 2 minutes) = EXO earned by 2* 1 result (each result is found by 1 GPU in 4 minutes)Huh

Although they are all results, but the result on the right hand side is rewarded only half of the result in left hand side? How can they get rewarded the same? Does this mean the EXO network will evaluate my hashing power?

I read through the writepaper, too little detail about this part.
Yes, your equiation is what we are going to implement.
quote from the whitepaper: "The content of the solved block will be distributed between all valid results. The earlier a node
submitted a result the more he will get from that block proportionally."
Well it will evaluate your hashing power by tracking the network time when you submit the value. You could recalculate your hashing power from that time value.

Please be patient with PM replies. Going to check them in 6 or 7 hours again.

It was possibly answered before, but can I invest in the 2nd round if I already invested 1.5 in the first?

My brother is not much in crypto, but his birthday is end of April. I thought I will invest another 1.5 BTC for him and give it to him, as a part of his present for his 18th birthday.

Would this be possible somehow?

You're a lucky guy. Sadly I'm waiting now since 5 days for an answer.
Hoping that I could become a stakeholder like you, too.

Yes, Scharfenberger, you were one of the people who waited the longest time, sorry.

Glad I managed to answer almost every PM. There are some PMs left from yesterday/today - please hang on until tomorrow.

Latest stats:

accepted (accepted does not necessarily include that they got already transferred): 67 BTC (already transferred: 13 BTC + BTC that already went to Anon136)
denied completly: 4 people
reduced since fairly new or inactive (or only rubbish posts) account (e.g. 1.5 BTC cap decreased to 0.5/0.3/0.1/0.05): 33 people
not yet processed: ~5 PMs

vote for a logo

if there are other logo suggestions or if I missed a logo you would like to vote on or if there are issues with the vote system (I had to adjust things since the original script did not allowed multiple answers)  please tell me.

Exo, you know that the choice number 10 contains the official nxt logo?Smiley  This particular pic comes from a designer who drafted cfb suggestions. I think you should remove this asap.
I also suggest to have more choices before making final decision; some of those logos are good looking, but very hard to visualise on a coin. Would be nice to have coin representative propositions as well when choosing a logo.

The 6th image copy from a entertainment stars which also named EXO in Korea.

So in order to keep unique feature, we should better remove it in list.  Smiley

Option 6 is the only decent. Too bad it was taken from google images:
https://www.google.com.br/search?q=exo+logo

Weird is copy the logo of a Korean teen band:
http://chiachee0829.wordpress.com/kpop/exo/
http://wallisty.com/exo-wallpaper-by-katharineford-on-deviantart/exo-wallpaper-by-katharineford-on-deviantart-2/

We need a real designer to create the logo.
