The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

And your company does not see itself in the implementation of augmented reality objects? After all, it is necessary to set an example, to interest other designers, they need tools to create and interact with augmented reality. If there is just a platform with territories, then someone will hardly come there himself. Now, if you set an example, it would be much better!
We will have different samples for our users that they can install and try, but the main idea is to encourage people to create their own experiences.
Create own experiences sound nice, but to popularize the platform, you will need to take the first steps. That's what I'm trying to hint about. This is a key point and I wonder how you plan to do this - do you already have options and a strategy?

It happened! Microsoft HoloLens 2 has been presented to the public, and the company had demos at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday.

Microsoft HoloLens was one of the first computers running the Windows Mixed Reality platform that appeared on the market in 2016. It is the first self-contained, holographic computer, enabling you to engage with your digital content and interact with holograms in the world around you.

HoloLens 2 has some modifications in design: now it is lighter as it is made of carbon fiber, and it easily fits over your glasses. The price of the device is a bit cheaper than the first HoloLens, and it costs 3500$. However, it is still not ready to be used on a daily basis as it is mainly aimed at corporate users and developers.

Augmented reality has started appearing in journalism to present a more compelling story.

The New York Times is experimenting with immersive experiences as part of their general news coverage. It all started with the Winter Olympics in 2018, and when the team was pretty comfortable with the production process, they switched to breaking news, and they finished off the year with certain data visualization.

The New York Times uses augmented reality not only to convey information in a very precise way but also cover it with the level of sensitivity without making it feel like a game. Not every story needs to be immersive, and the team has come up with the formats they were comfortable working with, where readers need to imagine the scene in more details to understand the story better.

Augmented reality can help journalism:

🔸A journalistic value in displaying a subject in its entirety
🔸Explaining scale/height/speed/distance better
🔸Visceral experience / emotional connect
🔸A more intuitive interaction
🔸Make graphics large

Watch the video to discover all the examples of augmented reality implementations in journalism: https://youtu.be/IXqclM2jk70

The material is based on the ARIA Leadership Summit at MIT.

Wow, this is really positive news, finally, we will see the practical part of the platform application! Keep it up, Arcona! Wink I hope it's according to plans, not because I'm boring you with this question. )

“It is better to see once than to hear one hundred times’

Vision is our dominant sense, it dominates conscious experience. We focus our attention on what we look at and perceive a lot of information with our eyes.

That’s why augmented reality is trending in marketing now being the number one channel for visual presentation. It absolutely rocks in retail and we have already shared with you some outstanding examples. We’d like to continue our excursion into the augmented reality world and its presence in different spheres.

Retail

Are you a fan of Converse sneakers and feel like ordering a new pair but hesitating what color or model to choose!? Say no more as this brand has its own augmented reality app that will help you make up your mind while surfing through their online catalog - from the classics to limited-editions.

Everybody has heard about IKEA’s furniture app, but probably not everyone has known that Wayfair also provides such services and you can try new furniture online in your apartment. Offering augmented reality can also boost sales: 72% of customers purchased products they hadn’t planned on after using augmented reality while shopping according to the study, “The Impact of Augmented Reality on Retail.”

Construction and maintenance

Augmented reality helps architects and engineers present their new ideas in the most detailed and visual way ever. Now you can see how the building will look like and literally feel how it fits in among the cityscape.

Or, how about providing maintenance for buildings and products? Augmented reality technology can help with that as well. It comes in handy with the remote assistance to customers as they repair products or complete maintenance procedures by having service manuals with interactive three-dimensional animations via augmented reality.

🎮 Entertainment market is using augmented reality to make experiences more immersive and fun.

Augmented reality compared to virtual reality is more accessible to people as it does not require additional headsets connected to a computer. With AR you can just open an app in your phone and dive into a new experience.

Augmented reality adoption moves a bit slow but steady as brands and consumers are finding new use cases for this technology.

TV shows and film can be more “alive” by bringing these formats off the screen, extending the visual story into the “real world”.

Computer and physical games can also use augmented reality to add novelty to the gaming process and mix the real world with the imaginary one.

👣 If you do not go to a fashion show, this fashion show will come to you 👣

Fashion shows are happening around the world all the time, but very few of us can make it to these events that take place in different countries.

So how about watching an augmented Fashion Week show at your own physical location from your mobile device?

London College of Innovation looks right to the future and has decided to partner with the augmented reality company HoloMe to present selected collections of London College of Fashion MA graduates. This digital experience was available for various locations one day before the start of London Fashion Week.

Such a concept gives an opportunity to sneak-peek into this world-renown event and cover even more people globally. Augmented reality can transform the way people consume and experience fashion.

For this augmented reality experience models were filmed on a “green screen” before stepping out on the runway. Watch how this experience was done:

I’m in our case, this is an honest project with a good team. It’s a pity, because there were a lot of rascals, the world cryptocurrency suffered a lot. It will take time and everything will fall into place.
There was similar project with same potential and it didn't end good. Hope this project has better luck.

Education should be as visual as possible to help students better grasp how things and processes work.

Augmented reality in education can really help with that and can become a vital tool for teachers. What's more important: no coding skills required. That's right, teachers do not need to know programming to start introducing augmented reality into their classes.

Let's have a look at apps that can be used in the classroom straightaway:

1. Curiscope

Using a special t-shirt and app students can learn more about the human body. You can literally see where your friend's heart or kidney is.

2. Catchy Words AR

Kids need to walk around and find letters than they will need to arrange these letters into words. That is the most fascinating idea to help children cope with spelling mistakes.

3. Metaverse

Quizzes and scavenger hunts have never been so interactive before this app.

Learn more about augmented reality apps that can be used in education: https://edscoop.com/no-coding-required-10-augmented-reality-apps-for-the-classroom/

Where do you think augmented reality can help the most in education?

Apple is betting on augmented reality being a total hit. All they talk about is AR and how it will transform the future.

Apple says they are going to launch their own augmented reality headset/glasses by Q4 2019 - Q2 2020. The analyst says that the AR glasses will essentially act as a display only with the actual computing, rendering, internet connectivity and location services coming from the iPhone in the user’s pocket. The device is assumed to be working wirelessly like Apple Watch and be more lightweight and comfortable than Oculus Go.

However, there is a lot of unknown in this concept, for example, how much battery will be used while watching augmented reality experiences in front of your face or will AR glasses be compelling and useful for the public in general.

Apple has high hopes and quite ambitious in its plans, and probably soon we will see a new wearable augmented reality device.

The Arcona team is participating in the Moscow tourist exhibition - one of the five world's largest industry forums that annually gathers together over two thousand companies and representatives of the touristic industry from 54 countries.

Ilya Korguzalov, the co-founder of Arcona, is suggested as a speaker at the specialized conference of MITT Digital. He will speak about incredible prospects that now are offered by the technology of augmented reality for the entire travel industry.

🗩 "Arcona is one of the leaders and pioneers of the augmented reality technology in tourism. We have entered the international AR market more than 5 years ago. Behind the Arcona project, there is a professional team that launched five AR parks where the lost historical buildings used to have been before.

In fact, these parks are fully functioning open-air museums. Our guests could not only see how many lost buildings used to look like years ago but also have a truly immersive experience related to the events of that era.
Launching such parks, we were convinced that the introduction of AR technology would create new tourist routes and facilities for the visitors all year round, and it has significantly increased the flow of tourists and profitability of those tourist projects.

Now there are already eight historical AR parks in six European countries launched by our team. These projects still have no analogs in the world in terms of the scale of the territories and the quality of the content.

In the near future, all of them will be presented on the Digital Lands of Arcona. So, our users will be able to create their own unique touristic projects or services anywhere in the world."

I haven't been following the project for a long time, what can I do at the moment if I have digital land?
Last fall, admins told me in a telegram that I could trade my digital land. Why is this not yet? Until now, digital land can only be bought!
