Yes, there are people here who bought BTC when it was 19K because they thought that time the BTC will go up until 25K but it never happens. Many people are already cut loss their BTC and some of them is still holding it and believe the BTC will go up more than 19K.

most of those are not investors, they just wanted to make some quick money driven by their greed, not driven by sane calculation.

I remember buying some BTC when Bitcoin was at its highest, but that doesn't say much. I've been buying Bitcoin almost every week, since around 2013, so naturally I also buy when the price is high.
When I buy Bitcoin, it's not just for holding it, I also use part of it. Whenever I buy food online, I pay with Bitcoin and I used to be able to buy call credit with Bitcoin, but they removed that option.
I never did buy any during that time, as it was like the scary phase for me now to do so for obvious reasons, but same applies for the sells since the scared factor of missing the highest would happen that time. It was one heck of a history of a price for Bitcoin. To be honest, I never got to sell my Bitcoins since I wasn't fully established on how would I take my founds out of my wallet. Mining fees around, not during, that time was like twice on what I was about to sell. We've all had stories like that last year and it's a bitter lesson, let's just charge it to experience. Those that bought in close to ath are all ptobably out of the market right now with a few, like the other dude, just living through the losses.

Well, a lot of people have bought bitcoin at that price because that time is really a great time for bitcoin, all good news and hope is always full, that makes new and old investors constantly pour more money into bitcoin with the aim of not regretting and having the opportunity to get ever more money. But sadly, they fell into the trap of the market, more precisely, it was a trap that the whales in the market created for them, and with what is happening on bitcoin, the opportunity for bitcoin to return to that price is almost zero, so people who are stuck should have another plan, instead of waiting

Those who buy Bitcoin for 19k may now be crying, but look at those who bought Bitcoin in the past, some bought Bitcoin for $100 in 2013 and lost more than 80% in 2014 , if they have enough patience to hold Bitcoin until 2017, they can still get very huge returns.
Yes that's true 100% trusting in bitcoin that will pump at and buy from 19k to dump 5k will a big problem Who bought in that case very huge money that loss from him.

Of course, that's a lot and maybe they just got to know Crypto so they don't know how to work on bitcoin and how to make an investment strategy. It's really unfortunate maybe their fate haha

Probably those people who are in need of Bitcoins, and those people who are probably rich enough to buy BTC that time, in that time people were almost all sellers and investors who are to collect their profit, and I promise you that it was the best time for the HODLers and sellers, they profited by a large margin on that month, everyone was indeed happy, except for the buyers and those who are starting to invest.

People who got in late, when the price went down 10%, they should have taken their losses and gotten out. This happens all the time in the Forex... people being too emotional to take their losses and leave.

I also have no idea what people who find themselves in such a situation feel. I think many have given up and left the crypto market. But perhaps there are some who still hopes and waits. I think that everything will be fine. Don't despair and keep working. Bitcoin will soon recover and maybe the price will be even higher.

Sure there are people who bought it at $19k peak on 2017 and those people got broke because look at the price of bitcoin now ranging $3.8k to $4k. Well they will not be at loss if they didn't sell because they will have great profit in the long run.

I didn't buy bitcoin when it was $19k probably because I didn't have money then. If I had , I'm very sure I would have bought because the hypewas very high that year . I would have fomoed and bought. But I know people who bought in at that price.....one person attempted suicide last year when the price tanked to $6k.

The way markets work is that every price on the chart represents a trade, which means there were 1 buyer and 1 seller who made a trade. There is the exact same number of buyers as sellers at every single point in a chart. Duh ....

If Bitcoin costs up to 19k, then lots of people from all corners of the world will flock to buy Bitcoin, I can't imagine how enthusiastic everyone wants to get Bitcoin, including I also definitely won't miss this good opportunity, I will buy Bitcoin as much as possible for assets in the future, because I am optimistic that the future of Bitcoin will be brighter. With that, I will be able to easily manage my future better and far better.

Not me, but i remember one of my friend buy a bulk of bitcoins when the price hit $17k and he hold his coins until early 2018 when the market crash start. Actually he can sell it before 2018 and get profit but he was greedy and hold till 2018.
