I think the ongoing arguement between 2 of the above posters, helped the EBT price to crash hard....other people do read this forum and this drama'll affect EBT's small market... Please, stop this...
SHIT! Sorry about that. I'm not posting about this again. It's not correct. Price crashed because of pumper, who removed his buy walls in volume about 5 BTC at all this prices 35-65.

I finally received my withdrawel from EBT! It all seems to work fine!
Anybody knows how I can get rid of a bunch of unconfirmed transactions from three weeks ago? They are staked coins that were never confirmed.
Any ideas?

Any ideas? Your best bet is to export the private keys for all your accounts and then import them into a new wallet. Unfortunately, there is no garbage collection in the wallet for unconfirmed transactions, although it may be an interesting idea for a filter (i.e. don't show unconfirmed transactions older than x days). - You can find the addresses associated with with listaccounts in the console (although the values for each account may not be correct in this listing--this is a bug we are working on).
- Then, for each account, do getaddressesbyaccount.
- Then, for each address in the list, do a dumpprivkey. Note that your wallet must be unlocked for this command.
- Then, import each of these private keys into a fresh wallet with importprivkey. Only transactions that have made it into the block chain will appear.
This may be a lot of work depending on the complexity of your prior transactions. You will probably want to reconstruct your address books, both for your sending and receiving addresses. If you want to wait, we can add an automatic filter in a later release.

We apologize for the confusion. The current version is 3.0.0.2. You were looking at a running list of news headlines. That list has been modified to remedy this source of confusion. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. Also, we have spotted a link error. The Mac wallet link pointed to the wrong file. The link is now under repair. The Mac wallet link has been repaired: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YeldpZVV0alRFSVk/edit?usp=sharing

Final Reminder: Check that you are running 3.0.0.2! The end of Proof-of-Work is less than 2000 blocks away, which means we are only hours from EBT's going pure Proof-Of-Stake!If you haven't already done so, please make sure you are running the 3.0.0.2 client. Note that this is just a reminder and not a new release. Here is a pictorial set of instructions for checking your client version:

Tired of waiting for the fleamarket site to launch. I suggest all the other EBT lovers do the same: http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/hsh/4470873856.htmlUntil people in the real world see they can actually get real things but need crypto currency to get them these coins will never take off. If anyone wants to buy stuff for EBT and lives in South Florida check craigslist.

Update: Proof of Stake Switchover has Gone 100% Without a Problem after 800 Blocks Below is a graph of what happened during the switchover. Purple markers are Proof of Work blocks and green markers are proof of stake blocks. The markers are plotted on the line for PoS difficulty (not PoW difficulty). The switchover happened on the penultimate block before the steep rise in PoS difficulty. No more PoW blocks are being generated on the network. Some users are reporting lots of orphaned PoS minting transactions. This is to be expected. Other than cluttering your wallet with unconfirmed minting transactions and spawning lots of popups, the orphans cause no problems. Your stake will eventually mint at the full APR, transactions will confirm, your coin is safe, and no orphaned chains have been detected on the network. The excessive popups and orphaned minting transactions will subside as much of the pent-up stake on the network converts to mint and the network stabilizes from the switchover. We are working on a filter for unconfirmed transactions and preference settings for the pop ups to reduce these inconveniences in the future.

No offense intended but I wish people would stop pricing alt-coins in terms of BTC (1 EBT = 2000 satoshi for instance). I think the goal should be for the coin to stand on it's own. With only 192 million coins now, we'd need each coin to be worth a few hundred at least before it becomes a mainstream economic player. Think big!
