Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It's nice to see you guys stick with this project on a longer term basis.
Are there any further plans that you guys could share with us? I'm hoping for something value adding or more places to use EBT. I can appreciate that you guys are still refining the EBT core and wallet.

I just updated EBT to the latest wallet and now my EBT coins are not showing up in my wallet. They were sent to my wallet address here: 5fSrLf6qJaYuxRKwYTHwx752pyhtMfz2aq
The transaction history shows no output transactions since i transferred my coins.
Ok i was able to restore my EBT coins in my wallet using the "repairwallet" commands. But now the coins are all stuck in "stake"

Can't freakin believe it. One of my craigslist accounts has been banned because I've been listing items for sale for EBT Coin and they think I'm trying to sell stuff for real food stamps which is against their TOS. I clearly state EBT Coin (crypto currency) in the ads!!!

is everyone still getting their stake regularly? Mine's stopped over the weekend (wallet seems fine...must just be coin age).
That could be a nice feature for POS coins...have a coin age column in the transactions for us that don't like to calculate dates.

LOL...Maybe 11,547.482 EBT = $1 USD as of today 9,457.5621 EBT = $1 USD yesterday 7,801.1473 EBT = $1 USD two days ago between 4 and 5000 over the weekend and last week it was in the 3000's. Looks like a lot of people are collecting the 100% APR stake and getting rid of it. Don't know if it's a good time to buy or follow suite. |
