I think EBT will gain a lot more attention once it finds itself and focuses on being the Bitcoin underdog.

No way. Do you know why? Because EBT is plain dead. It's that simple. The dev knows that no matter what he do there will be no significant trades on that coin. I shoulda sell my 1.8M coins and take 3.5-4 BTC profit instead sitting with unsynced wallet and weeks of mining in my ass.

at least you can sell, my wallet still won't sync and my coins just went poof!

$350 worth of purchases and months of mining...wouldn't mind castrating the POS devs that disappear, like little children growing tired of a toy then leaving a mess for others to clean up.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

No, I can't sell, because my wallet is not syncing as yours. I meant that I shoulda sell my coins 2-3 months ago.

Would anyone be willing to pledge a bounty towards finding a dev to fix EBT? I'm down for 100k. The dev has abandoned the coin. Anyone who wants a community take over can pledge towards the bounty of getting a dev to fix this. Beyond that, we'll need someone to take over management of EBT.

I think a lot of us don't have anything to pledge as we lost all our coins with the last wallet update.  Personally, I'm not going to spend additional bitcoins or dollars in the hopes that I may get back my old coins back and may get back the value I originally put into it, plus the additional spent on getting the missing coins back.

Should EBT become a stable coin again we can still add them to the upcoming coinlocator.org and I can check if the person we're designing the crypto flea market for is still interested in listing it.

On the upside, it is not delisted on poloniex yet, while other coins are.

Does anyone have the previous wallet version? It atleast was a fully synching version...

for windows I still have those:

EBT Windows QT v1.0.rar
EBT-Qt-2.0.zip
EBT Qt-4.0.3.zip

Which was the last version that is still working?

Uploaded:

Those should be the original packages.
(use www.virustotal.com to check date and SHA256 thought I don't know if we have a list of the original SHA256 of those packages somewhere)

Let us know how you got on. I have a sizeable share in EBT, and would like to see a community takeover.

I managed to get version 1.0 up and running. It has been syncing, but it goes very slow at times, especially when doing PoS work, which BTW still works. I left the wallet open overnight hoping to make some headway in syncing. I was wrong. It is VERY slow. But the good news is, the wallet is syncing, just not very quickly. As to whether or not the wallet will sync all the way? I've no idea. I still don't know the latest block count so I have no idea how much further I have to go in my wallet.

I have had the best results with version 1.0. I tried 2.0 and it gets stuck way to easily. 4.0 I haven't spent a lot of time with.

Last I asked, Polo was at 496,??? I was still a little less than 100k away from that. But its syncing extremely slow now. Barely moving now. Is there any way to replace the chain in appdata with a more recent one?

I tried to get the latest version, but it won't allow me to download the newest version from the link posted on page one. I am still trying with v1.0 and I am at block 396364 and it's telling me it's synced, though I know that's not the case. Any working link for the latest version?

EBT Critical Update 4.1.1.1

Please update ASAP.

This critical update is to version 4.1.1.1. It is a checkpoint update and incorporates staking fixes from the previous update as well as fixes alert broadcasting.

Also, below are links to weekly snapshots of the blockchain. New minting behavior took effect on midnight, Aug. 15, GMT.

The new behavior bumps the interest rate to the full 100% APR.

Please remove your blockchain and peers.dat infromation, download the blockchain data below, delete and any addnode entries in your EBT.conf, then add this line to your EBT.conf:

When I go to the google drive page, it tells me too many people have viewed it and they won't let me download it.
