Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Most people don't input the correct setting to solo mine.  Google why you are getting so many rejects solo mining.

Is it not a little too early for selling? Those coins are worth nothing... if you wait a few days and difficulty rises then your coins will be much more expensive. Look at CASH coin, the first day i was able to mine 1000 CASH, now they are trading at 0.00070000 so that was 0.70BTC in one day with 3MH/s installation.
