Volgens mij is 50% hier Nederlands.

Translated for people wondering: I think 50% is Dutch here.

The owner from Xivra is also dutch... really trying to achieve something nice with his coin, but as you all know when coins are moving lower the community is complaining Smiley With Klondike coin the same, we are now discussing a fork, is it needed? mmm, maybe, but because the coin price is moving lower (like a lot of the coins) community is not happy and want changes.

Multipools are killing all coins. That is why you need protection from them with fast diff retargets making it not possible for them to mine. That is why forking it and implementing KGW would be my first choice.  But if we cannot get our hands on the dev we could just leave things like they are. But you know it will be pumped and dumped all the time, never giving the coin time to mature. Or we could start a second coin on a new blockchain. But then there would be 2 Hobbitcoins. Not really a good thing.

On the other hand when a coin has momentum it can survive these pools. But you need big media exposure, and great community like Dogecoin.

Klondike coin implemented KGW but what happened, multipools stay away, and no interest anymore and coin price drop little by little. I believe it is best to create a retargeting based on time and not based on blocks, if that is possible, this allow multipools to do their thing and not destroy the coin as the retargeting will be in 6 hours or so.

hahaha... nah know all the people needed to do this.

Klondike is just a bad name.  They were better off naming it RushCoin or something.
HobbitCoin is a great name, there are millions of fans of the subject. That is why this coin might work. But you need commitment. I have plenty of ideas for this coin....

Interrest in a coin solely from multipools is no interrest at all.  But let's wait if we can get in touch with the dev.

Still waiting to get in touch with the dev. If he has abandoned it, we just take it.

I think we need to continue working on Hobbitcoin.

Donate 5% or even 10% to his family and try to make Hobbitcoin the coin that he thought Hobbit would have become. If we can create a nice group of people that want to work around this coin then a lot can be achieved.

What those the community think of it? We assign a group of promoters, someone taking over the coin and we donate 10% to his family. We create a donation address and from the moment it hits the market and the price look nice, the family can sell those coins.
