yes ... been mining for 1 hour no payouts/confirmed/unconfirmed ... zilch Does your miner say the shares are being accepted? Yes but what does it matter, there have been no blocks found reported on the pool site and no payouts to my or any address according to the stats. So they are either scamming or something else is going on. Some input from the owners would be good!

lol maxcoin getting sold for 0.1 btc on coins e....wtf
This is just the usual nonsense early sellers selling to themselves to try and establish an insane price as "normal." It will drop, I expect with this fiasco of a launch MAX doesn't settle above 100 satoshis when it's all said and done. Probably will end up lower than MEOW. Going to close all my now-useless miners and back to PrimeCoin and VertCoin, and popping the popcorn while watching this community (rightfully) shove this clunker into the bin.

I think people should stop referring to this as a scam coin. It makes people who launch genuine scam coins look bad. They're too clueless to willfully scam anyone, it's simply good old fashioned downright incompetence.

When you click the links to the other coins on the site, the link for maxcoin vanishes. I quit. I'd rather solo than that garbage. All that hash and not a single block? BS.

Here is a Windows QT for MaxCoin. I have made the Windows QT execs for CACHE, Panda, and CGA, so I can be trusted. This took a while so if anyone is feeling generous or would like to provide a bounty, my MaxCoin address is: mb59ybTSSWmcWwYGXNuUmFfjV4TQc8mEEB The QT can be found here: http://www.chainbrowser.com/qt/MaxCoin.zipHere is an image as proof: has anyone used this gt ? Does this work?

easier not to run it in daemon mode - in which case you just press control+c find the process ID (PID) by ps aux | grep maxcoind you will find two entries... one for maxcoind the other for this command trying to find maxcoind (should be the lower number one that's the real maxcoind) then kill (the PID of maxcoind) Easy! Anyone can do it
