I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?
There are a lot of hackers nowadays, so i think there are some cryptocurrency wallets that can be hacked by hackers. For you not to be hacked by hackers better becareful and never give any information to an untrusted person because they may used it to steal all of your cryptos.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

A lot is possible nowadays in terms of hacking but can be kept at bay if we do our duties to protect our cryptos. Mainly using cold storage wallets for the bulk of our holdings, 2-step authentications, even paper wallets can be used as long as you hold the private keys.

Online web wallets are not secured that enough those holding your private keys & is same with crypto exchanges they can be hacked directly by black hat guys by bypassing server security, wallet storage data. But wallets for which you are holding your private keys then it is then you own responsibility to safeguard it from hackers, malwares, keyloggers, phishing websites, malicious clipboard.

If your Bitcoin wallet is hosted in a third party server (coinbase, blockchain, bittrex ect) then yes it can get hacked.

If your Bitcoin wallet is hosted on your own device, personal computer or in an offline paper wallet then it cannot get hacked.
This is completely incorrect, just because the wallet is stored in your own device it does not mean it cannot be hacked, the reason we see more hacks against exchanges has to do with the fact that they are big targets because of the great amount of coins that they hold, but make no mistake there is always a way to get hacked or to make you to reveal that information, some months ago thieves stole bitcoin from a trader the old fashioned way and this is only going to happen more frequently as the value of bitcoin goes up.

Yes, and small traders like us will always get ignored by hackers because they don't know how much is really on our wallet but with exchanges, they can expect on how much they can get. But we still need to be careful because maybe one of the people you know is a wanna-be hacker trying to steal your  money because you told them how much you have.

Yes it can be hacked because hackers always find new ways to hack. We are required to 2FA  to avoid wallet being hacked. I will prefer to use hardware wallets like trezor to have a better experiences on using wallets. Don't use web wallets.

Thanks for the advice. It is very good to use hardware wallet. I start to use it a few months ago, and for real-time I am very happy because the percent of it can be hacked is lower.
This is one way among many to protect your online account. One has to keep the important keys like password and the gmail account secure to avoid the possible threats. Besides, the blockchain technology has made it more protected to invest in Bitcoin safely. Do not access certain website which do not have the “http” in the start for majority of them are suspicious and can break into your computer to get what they want.
I think crypto wallets can be hacked and this is the big problem for controllers and investors. Hackers can even hack top class exchanges like Binance. I have heard some cases of wallet hacking. Due to hacking many people do not invest in cryptocurrency because it is internet base and can be hacked any time. Bitcoin investment is very risky.

Everything computer related is hackable. So of course. You always have to be careful to have the latest most secure wallet.
There comes something important. Yes every single thing that is intractable with internet and connected to some computer thing, you are not safe with it. Hackers are everywhere and they can hack into everything depending upon how complex the security of that system is. But there are some best practices that must be followed to keep your system and your coins safe from such vulnerabilities.

Which is why you should not trust anyone in this market, in fact one of the easiest ways to be hacked is if the hacker can get physical access to your computer since many people do not put a password in their computers, this is why you must keep the amount of coins that you are holding in secret even to your loved ones so you avoid becoming a target, after all if criminals knew that you keep a bunch of cash in your house you will be robbed immediately.

Any wallet is vulnerable to hacks, because there are several angles of attack. A hacker might not even have to exploit the

wallet software or code. They can use the "Man in the Middle" attack strategy where they intercept the data before it is

send to the wallet or they can use a Phishing strategy where they re-direct you to their fake site or wallet software. They can

even install Malware on your computer to capture all the data that you enter to re-use it on another computer. They can steal

your seed when you create the wallet or grab your private key, when you use the wrong method to create Paper wallets for

cold storage.  Roll Eyes

Anything can be Hacked, we've read reports on social media or on print about the incident of Hacking, Crypto currency wallet is very appealing to hackers, that's where the information about your investment, profits, money on your wallet. Take care of your private wallet, password, and information on all of your business transaction. Its better to be safe than sorry.

whatever sort of wallet we have I figure it will be exceptionally helpless against hacking on the off chance that we are not watchful in putting away our private key. so I think the most imperative thing is the manner by which we can keep a mystery about the wallet we have from anybody in light of the fact that on the off chance that somebody thinks about the wallet we have it will have an extensive hacking hazard.

Yes, they can absolutely be hacked if the users do not know how to protect himself or use it in an appropriate way. Therefore, you have to obtain knowledge on the internet about your coin as well as your wallet in order not to be lost money. Many people will teach you how to protect your money in the best way

For all we know, hackers are growing and we can't stop them. They can do or they can hack everything they wanted to. Hackers are criminals and they are need to be punished if they hack something especially when they hack money. A big amount of money. Ofcourse they can hack crytpocurrency wallets because they study programming. They can enter the systems of anything. Hackers are wise. But we must be wiser than them.

Everything that is done in the internet is prone to hacking. And i have some friends that lost their crypto because of hackers. This hackers will do anything to get your funds. And they will send allot of bait and wait until you bite their bait. So we need to take care always so we cannot be a victim of hacking.

The security of all of those you mentioned are sure and cannot be hacked. But, the one that can be hacked off you are your passwords. Also, take special care of your private keys. The only way that they can take them from you is if you let them.

Yes they can be hacked because they are also in digital form like your social media account that requires your email and password or a certain private key. Once these information got leaked or exposed by a hacker, then it's the end of the road of your crypto assets already.

Hacking of cryptocurrency wallets is possible due to vulnerabilities on the blockchain. With such vulnerabilities hackers can enter into blockchains and cause harm.

The crytocurrency wallets are many variety to choose but I think they are all good, I do not think it will hacked , the only thing is to be safety about your private key ,because if other would secretly known it ,that is the time your wallet will be penetrated and you will lost every thing in this wallet, so be careful your passwords and private keys keep it secretly as much as possible.
