I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

It happen all the times that not only the wallets but the exchanges too that in spite of heavy firewall and defenses still the hackers penetrated and steal millions of money. Therefore you should keep your private keys and account passwords so that it will not be hack and steal your hard earned assets.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

There is no cryptocurrency wallet that is not hackable. It all depends on how well you can secure your wallets by taking all known security measures so as to protect your funds.

Indeed, we are right now living on digital world where people connected with internet. I am believe if the thing in digital form, it can be hacked. Hackers always improves their skill and knowledge, and we should be always aware with our crypto wallet. There is nothing wrong with always carefull

I think both is the same of user getting hacked or wallet as if the user gets hacked automatically his all wallets are also get hacked as the hacker after getting control of your desktop will just go through your desktop and steal all your wallet details and hack them.

In some of the projects the developer itself put a virus in the wallet download so that he can get access to the users desktop and hack it.

I think this question is being asked hundred of time till now for so many years why do not people just Google search that topics they are about to start and see if they are already discussed. This type of topics usually attracts the attention of the spammers. I will request the OP to contribute a little and close this thread so no more spam gets into it. If everyone stops spamming and started helping and providing Useful information then I am sure we can see a lot of camp and other services and big companies joining this form very soon. I remember back at 2013 this forum was supposed to be the backbone of Bitcoin and now when the market is so vast that more than 3000 altcoins exist then we have a lot bigger Army of Crypto users in there all we need to do is help them to reach higher base.

This questions already asked and answer many times here but i still give my opinion. Your digital or cryptocurrency wallet will be hack if you are become careless and do not know how to keep secrets. You need to keep yout password and private key secretly that only you knew it. Don't give or avoid to share your personal documents to other people. Just take care your wallet by your own.
