I think it's best to diversify investments, 50% in altcoins and 50% in Etherium or Bitcoin, as you like. Such a strategy will reduce your risks.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are produced in a process called mining. My advice to you is, never store all your money in one currency, even the most reliable one. Always buy a few coins. This will save you from losses. |

Holding in bitcoin and ethereum is good as they are basically like the top notch cryptocurrency in the ecosystem right now. However, when it comes to investment, you still would want to diversify into other areas as well right ? As we still have a lot of undervalued good projects most especially from ICOs waiting to breathe from this pressure mounted on them by the downtrend. I would suggest that more should go into bitcoin and ethereum and then spread the remaining few on other great projects. |

Holding all your money in altcoins would be extremely risky and I wouldn't practice that unless the whole market is booming. Until then at least have 50% of your holdings be BTC, any less would be reckless in my eyes.

My suggestion is ethereum is the best choice to put your money now. Because BITCOIN is very expensive and some cant afford buying at that price especially when you dont have lots of money . So its better to hold ethereum because we all know that it has lot of potential and its sleeping giant right waiting for the market to wake up and i know ethereum will be huge like btc and might surpass it someday. Diversify is the best way too ,dont put all eggs in one basket so i think you better look for an altcoin which will be stable and boom in the future. Just be responsible for researching on your investment coin and dont follow others opinion. |

To keep a large amount of money in altcoins is risky, because most of the coins in the market cryptocurrency this is just rubbish and did not prove themselves in any way. Personally, I keep most of the money in eth and btc.

I take altcoins with all my money but sometimes i am looking my wallet i see decreasing, this is disappointment for me because of this i think about it convert my altcoins to bitcoin, etherium or neo.

It depends on what you think. If you want to be safe, then you can put all your money in Bitcoin. If you want to make more money and you are willing to take risks, then you can invest in altcoins because of their high profits!

You can still hold some of your money to the most popular altcoin like NEO, XLM, XRP, LTC, and many more. Their price is quite stable enough and has a possibility of growth in the next day.
