What do Altcoins offer that Bitcoin does not?

Some of the alt coin provide a better feature than bitcoin from one side, there are no alt coins that got better features than bitcoin completely, and bitcoin got a huge support and the popularity, there are too many alt coins that appear so it weakened the alt coin itself, and it become easier to be manipulated, that is also become the reason that alt coins is more profitable than bitcoin in trading, but without real adoption alt coin won't able to compete with bitcoin

Bitcoin and altcoin both are doing very well and people are getting attracted towards these two day by day. However, different altcoins have different features which bitcoin lacks and what bitcoin has, none of these got in themselves. Bitcoin is considered to be the king of crypto currency.

I think the best thing altcoin has is that the price is still very cheap and affordable, altcoin also has more supply than Bitcoin, I'm sure altcoin will go beyond bitcoin, but it takes a very long time.

Some new altcoins may exceed Bitcoin in many ways. But! 99% of them are all just on paper and they do not have what Bitcoin has - the time that he went through. Therefore at the moment I think there are no direct competitors yet

I think the right altcoins can offer more in terms of profitability than bitcoin would in the long term. an outcoin with a value $0.1 that becomes $1 is a 10 folds increase, I dont think we are going to see 10 folds increase in bitcoin anytime soon.

Bitcoin is always the leader. This is indisputable. But bitcoin is theoretically the most primitive. There are a lot of projects that do what he can not do. There are ico's who do great things. These are really important things.

there are serious trade off's for any project that improves on certain areas of btc.........there are zero alts with clear advantages without clear disadvantages

btc is not primitive it is merely calculated in its simplicity for maximum impact in the most important areas

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and it established and is dominated by a large number of people and will remain the best crypto and altcoin are created to cover the disadvantages of bitcoin because in terms of transaction speed and fee, altcoins are better, they have specific functions according to their importance, they offer more volatility than bitcoin, they give more profit on long term investment than bitcoin because they are cheaper. I think it is only when all altcoin combine as one that they will surpass bitcoin.

Different altcoins offer unique feature and serve different industry or ecosystem need.Ethereum for example is for Smart contracts and a platform for launching other cryptos.That obviously is not possible with bitcoin.

 Perhaps yes there's a chance that some alts can outpass bitcoin. Unless if some of big holder on bitcoin jump to another alt to collaborate the progress of the project. Altcoins provide a specific purpose for their coin like, some are used as crypto banks, some for particular payment for specific areas like travels, hotel, and accommodation. I think Altcoins are better than Bitcoin based on its individual characteristics, better features, and advanced technologies.

By and large, I think that most of the altcoins will die sooner or later, because they are all very similar to each other, so to say that these projects are unique is not necessary, I think that bitcoin is one.
