the idea of wallet protection is individual responsibility as it is solely you and you alone that has the responsibility of taking care and performing transactions on your account from your wallet. saving wallet private keys offline is a good idea as emails too get hacked but i only do save mine online via my icloud account as apple has a degree of security put in place to curtail such hacks.

Actually is easy, that is don't share your private key to unknown website who was asking to import or connect your account using private key.

Today, there are actually quite a few sophisticated opportunities for hacking accounts, but also for protecting personal data too. But I think that first of all, the owner of personal data should think about security and be attentive at the moment when he endangers his device.

It is necessary to understand that sometimes we give hackers the opportunity for their activities completely unaware of this, for example, we all love to use free WiFi networks when we walk around the city, and yet this is exactly one of the most dangerous factors which can lead to lose our money. Never use free WiFi networks - this is dangerous.

This is one of the ways to at least provide additional layer of safety to your coins. If your wallet address is made public, it is always brought into a different level of risk as compared to a wallet whose address you and only you are aware of. Of course, private keys should be treated with utmost care. It is the life of your wallet. Also, you can maintain several wallets. Sometimes it is just too risky to put everything in a single basket. I do that myself. If I become a victim of a hacking incident, that will not be an end to all my coins.

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
Will not all wallet addresses appear on the transaction we made at that time? and as long as the wallet is still using a computer or cellphone all possibilities can still occur so all we have to do is provide protection on these devices so that we can minimize the bad possibilities that occur.

It seems to me that hardware wallets are much more reliable. That is why I advise my friends who have a lot of cryptocurrency to use a cold wallet.

There are several ways to protect our wallet. The first we can use the security of 2 steps authentication, which code will continue to update every few seconds. So every time we open the wallet, the code that is updated is requested. The second is to buy a hardware wallet.

To ensure wallet security is to always follow the security instructions from the wallet maker, for example, to ensure that the address we use is correct with bookmarks, this is because many phishing sites have similar names.

Just be careful and recheck several times where you go and where the data points. Never give anyone your passwords and secret keys, no company will ask you to do this. You just need to be smarter and then hackers will not get anything.

Sometimes, it might even be a risk to reveal your wallet details to whoever you think or feel is close to you.
Those i can reveal it to are my children and my wife. Anybody outside that is excepted.
I have already stored everything on a disc, which is not rewritable and that cannot be compromised.
Saving vital information on devices used for browsing the internet is not also advisable.

A few months ago I watched a very interesting video on YouTube. It spoke about several ways to protect personal data. I recommend you look for information there.

Actually is easy, that is don't share your private key to unknown website who was asking to import or connect your account using private key.
Not that easy when you don't even have any clue if there's some kind of viruses infecting your computer. You may think that you never ever submitted your privkey to stranger or any phishy website but the hackers will still get it anyway. that's why always use 2fa and if you can afford one go buy hardware wallet.

I agree, 2fa is very helpful from hackers , I also think you need to install an antivirus on your computer and also install plugins that protect against phishing on sites and then I think you will be safe

Even sending pictures for other people about your wallet it's very sensitive and they will have a key to access on your wallet so those people hack their wallets with anonymous peoples is very hard to recover on their hack accounts.

actually, it's very easy to keep your wallet from hackers. we only store a private key or phrase in a safe place like a cloud (google drive, Dropbox, and others). and never store it on a flash disk, because it is susceptible to viruses.

I think it's better to keep it on a flashdisk and so on, if you save Google drives, it's less likely to be hacked.
but it does not rule out the possibility, it is safe, provided we also play it safe.

Everything is quite simple, the main rule is to never give anyone your private keys and secret phrases, never click on suspicious links in the mail, always check ALL the links to which you are going to click.

Try to use cold wallets, because it is much safer than using Myetherwallet or any other analogs. It cost you 80 bucks and will never hear about any security problems or hacking attacks. It worth it buying a ledger wallet.

Try to use cold wallets, because it is much safer than using Myetherwallet or any other analogs. It cost you 80 bucks and will never hear about any security problems or hacking attacks. It worth it buying a ledger wallet.

Using MyEtherWallet is safe, it is all up to you, use MetaMask and recheck the website address, and whether the connection is secure or not. So you protect yourself, and the breaking of a person’s computer has not been canceled.  Cool
