Based on the top ranking coins, I would prefer the following coins, eth, iota, eos and neo as these coins are promising coins for long term investments. These coins had been in the crypto market for a longer time and rest assured it has been doing good performance in the market. I think a good altcoin to be resistant in the long term is Ethereum why I chose this altcoin because I know altcoin can be good in the future and its growth is good and can be profitable and if I choose bitcoin many people say if soon the price of Bitcoin and Altcoin will return

Honestly, remme is the only best choice from your list. It offers a very good idea with a reliable team behind the project. Altcoins are not suitable for holding for long-term because the exchange rate fluctuates very quickly, the exchange rate is always down during this period. So if the long-term investment is determined, BTC and ETH are still the right choices and safe. You only need to invest in ETH at a low exchange rate then hold until the end of 2018.

There is a lot of altcoins good to hold for a long term but ethereum is my favorite to hold with. Even though the price of eth today has dipping too much it's still good coz whenever it goes up it really dominates the market.
